Headed up by Tensnake, True Romance has remained a consistent sun beam across dance floors across its 9 years of operation. 

With a balmy back catalogue including Tensnake himself, Jesse Bru, Red Rack 'EM and Jozef K; the label has maintained a strong strain of positivity and jubilant party vibes throughout. 

Next up is an EP that slides neatly in with its predecessors - a 2-tracker from True Romance family member Factory Sequences.

Hailing from the UK, Factory Sequences has appeared on True Romance 3 times so far and his latest offering evinces why he is a popular contributor. 

'Moisture On The Motherboard' kicks things off as it steadily swirls and swells into an entanglement of strings, emotive keys, bold synth stabs and a ripe, punchy kick. 

Blobs of acid and piano lines are introduced as a competent handle on melody across multiple instruments is demonstrated.

'Sonarflex' then follows up with a rich, swooping synth lines which tug on the heart strings will a languid groove propels progress forwards. 

Glacial twinkles and razor sharp hats add colour across a track with a distinctly cinematic tone. Rounded, steady bass tones fill the low end as nifty drums dart in bringing an eyes down dance floor epic to a close.

This is the splendid deep follow up EP by our favorite Liverpool artist Petals In Sound. After her great label debut last summer where she already showed us her wonderful atmospheric electronic sound, she now continues on a journey through that same spaced- out house territory. “Dial Tone” and “Lush” are both laid back groovers that sooth every dancefloor and are perfect late, or better, early hours tunes to steer dancers gently towards sunrise and out of smoke filled clubs, homewards with warm musical memories of a danced and spaced out night.
“The Sea and Everything in It” is a personal fave here as it combines great percussive rhythms with her unique style, arpeggios and dark synths electronica, deep like a warm spring day. The outdoor raves will be a perfect setting for this one! Last we asked our other new label member Pete Bandit from Berlin to remix “Lush”. With his own debut “Wild Feelings” he already set the tone showcasing his expert percussive and driving house sound. Here again he turned the original into a loopy “New York House” style jam with cool funky drums that fit in perfectly with the other tracks and make this whole EP a tight and delightful package. Since their Debut in 2018, Ray Barragan & Lionel Rifkin aka Club Tularosa have built a unique taste. Mixing flavors of Post Punk, Italo, Techno & even the obscure parts of psychedelic funk. They’ve proven themselves as proper party starters. Following their first hit in 2019 ‘Kenji’, Club Tularosa released a second EP ‘Pyramids’ on Me Me Me records which catapulted them into the global touring circuit. 2021 brought huge success with originals & remixes for labels such as Correspondent, Throne of Blood, HE. SHE. THEY., Calypso & Australia’s Soothsayer. 
While they’re DJs first, Club Tularosa continues to raise the bar with productions. As musicians, they continue to push the boundaries of club music by exploring diversity and implementing range in their sound.
