The Shops are like 3 plums floating in a hat full of perfume.  They’re a moody and argumentative bunch and can normally be found hanging from jacaranda trees quarrelling about the artwork of their perpetually imminent debut EP allegedly due out in August.  One thing  they all agree on though is that they can’t wait to bring their off kilter protopunk musings and noise treats to your delicious ears. When the penny drops, it makes such a beautiful sound and that sound is called LIMBO. The pennies in question are Perth muso Christopher Callan - whom you may remember from Australian acts such as The Panda Band and Sons of Rico. The other is a bit of foreign currency, Scottish singer songwriter - Graham McLuskie. The duo bring together their individual styles and the result is melodic harmonies, untold lyrics and cartoonish pop. The feeling of calm and pensiveness will envelope you as you listen to them play from their intermediate state.
