The label seeks to stand out through creative expression and social commentary, aiming to build a community invested in both music and meaningful messaging. Through this, he hopes to provide positivity amid the world’s challenges, using art and music as channels for connection.

Italian-born and London-based, Mattia Turchetti, known as M.F.S: Observatory, has spent the past decade refining a sound that sits between engineering precision and raw club instinct.

His productions and DJ sets balance M.F.S: Obervatory's hypnotic repetition with emotional restraint, merging the discipline of a sound designer with the pulse of a dancefloor tactician. “My first musical memories come from home,” he begins. “My brother introduced me to electronic music, while my parents played Italian artists like Pino Daniele, Fabrizio De André, and Francesco De Gregori. That mix of emotion, melody, and rhythm shaped my ear from an early age. I started experimenting with drum machines and early software, fascinated by how rhythm could control a room. That curiosity slowly evolved into DJing and then producing my own music.”
The alias came later, carrying both geographical and philosophical weight. “I’m from a village facing Mount Vesuvio, where the observatory stands, and that idea of watching and listening from above felt powerful. We started as a trio, but over time it became my solo project. The name stayed because it reflects how I approach music: always observing, studying, and experimenting with sound.”

Damien Roussel’s path as The Mekanism traces a rare blend of discipline, restlessness, and human perspective.

The Mekanism got his first taste of Paris's flourishing house scene in the early 2000s, but it was his unexpected detour to Asia that left the real mark. “Back when I was living in China, on this island called Hainan, I actually opened a nightclub there,” he recalls. “It was a crazy experience - but what really hit me was seeing how tough life was for a lot of the people I worked with. Some of them were living in real poverty, and that made me realise how lucky I was. It pushed me to live my passion to the fullest, to enjoy every moment, and to never take this life for granted.”

DJ Morgan, is a producer and founder of HardNRG.com - one of the first major online platforms to promote hard house across the United States, showcasing exclusive sets from leading artists around the globe. His own productions and DJ mixes blew up his international profile, seeing him tour extensively and earn a reputation as a highly influential figure in the early US hard dance movement. “When I went to my first rave, it all came together - a scene developing before my eyes, opening me up to entirely new ways of thinking about music,” he recalls.

The 1990s US dance scene was raw, experimental, and fiercely inclusive. “Everyone was welcome. Positive vibes came in, and out went the punk rock and industrial angst,” says Morgan. While Europe evolved into a vast festival culture, America’s underground stayed stripped-back and communal. “Out of a thousand records, you might find twenty or so dedicated to harder styles,” he remembers. The arrival of early internet record hubs like Juno Records and Banging Tunes finally gave him access to the European records that would later inspire his mission.

Yousef’s trajectory pivots on one early catalyst. Winning Muzik Magazine’s Bedroom Bedlam competition put him in front of the right booths at the right moment. His mix was raw but razor-sharp: three decks, two copies of tunes, mixing, chopping, loaded with Magic Sessions, Moodymann, DJ Rasoul, Basement Jaxx, and Daft Punk. Ministry of Sound booked him as the prize. Pacha Ibiza followed. Agents offered deals on the spot. A full-time career began immediately.

Liverpool shaped him. Early acid house. Late-rave grit. Weekly pilgrimages to Cream. “I can’t overstate how special Cream was… sweat dripping off the ceiling… it was the best clubbing experience I’ve ever had.” He studied the room long before he played it. Cream’s Annexe gave him the residency he had already imagined: six-hour underground house sessions in a room that defined a generation.

Denisity sits in the same lineage Bailey has stressed throughout recent interviews. Direct pressure, no excess, no decorative sound design. The track pushes a tight rhythmic core, heavy low-end movement and the kind of analog distortion he has leaned into across his 2025 output. It shows a producer still operating with intent rather than nostalgia, still anchored in a vision shaped long before trends pushed the genre outward.

The groove stays locked without softening its edges. Dark, rolling bass cuts through a rigid percussive framework, while cyclical synth interference grinds against the structure to create tension rather than release. Lola Kay’s relationship with music was never passive. It was lived, absorbed, and embodied long before she ever stood behind a booth. Growing up in Minsk, Belarus, her childhood unfolded inside theatres rather than classrooms, shaped by the backstage corridors where her mother worked and where atmosphere, tension, and emotion were constructed night after night. Drama, sound, and silence all had purpose. At the same time, she was already dancing, learning intuitively how rhythm moves the body and how music alters mood. That early immersion taught her something foundational: music is not decoration, it is architecture 

As a child, she was introspective and self-directed, spending long stretches alone with records and artwork. Electronic music arrived early, not through trends but through curiosity. Digging became instinctive. The raw energy and strange aggression of The Prodigy left a lasting imprint, a first encounter with electronic music that felt unruly, physical, and alive. It was less about genre and more about sensation, something she would later return to again and again.

Exos has never treated techno as a fixed language. For more than two decades, the Icelandic artist has used it as a living system, shaped by environment, memory, and physical place. Sweet Dreams, his fifth full length album and first LP for SHDW’s Mutual Rytm, is not a return or a reinvention. It is a consolidation. Past, present, and future collapse into a single body of work that carries the weight of lived experience rather than scene cycles.

Born and raised in Iceland, Exos has always worked in extremes. Light and darkness. Heat and isolation. Motion and stillness. Those contrasts have defined his output across labels like Tresor, X/OZ, and Mutual Rytm, and they remain central here. Whether operating in dubby restraint or driving, high impact techno, his sound has consistently carried the discipline and directness of 90s techno without slipping into nostalgia. Sweet Dreams does not reference the past. It absorbs it.

The album opens with its most intimate moment. An analogue ambient introduction created 28 years ago in collaboration with his father, recorded during shared studio sessions at D17 in Reykjavik. The Nord Modular tones feel suspended in time, less like an opening track and more like a doorway. From there, the title track emerges with a linear, hypnotic pull. Cold synth modulations shimmer against a steady forward motion, setting the emotional temperature for what follows.

As the album unfolds, Exos moves freely across the full spectrum of his sound. Out premiere, North of January captures the physical cold of his homeland in tone and restraint.

Sweet Dreams is not structured as a peak time statement. It is a long form narrative that moves through memory, geography, and personal history with control and clarity. The bonus digital tracks extend that language into minimal, deep techno, and ambient tension without diluting the core intent.

After years of releases on Mutual Rytm and beyond, this album feels less like a milestone and more like a document. A record shaped by decades spent inside Iceland’s unique conditions, filtered through a producer who has never chased relevance, only truth.

Sirus Hood’s relationship with house music began before he knew what to call it. Long before genres, platforms, or scenes, there were cassette tapes.

Chicago house recordings passed hand to hand, some captured live in clubs in Algiers, complete with DJs speaking over the mix. No internet. No mentors. Just repetition and imagination. “I was listening to Chicago house without knowing what it was,” he recalls. “No internet, no mentors. Just tapes.” Those voices and rhythms planted a vision early. “I used to imagine myself in his place.”

Raised between Algiers and Paris, contrast became instinctive rather than disruptive. Different cultures, different energies, coexisting without hierarchy. That duality never demanded resolution. “It taught me contrast very early,” he says. “Different cultures, different energies. I never felt the need to choose one side, I learned to move between them.” The ability to navigate between worlds would later define both Sirus Hood's sound and his career...

Joining the WCF imprint with his ‘Distorted Time EP’, the Manchester based Transcode brings his driving sound to Egg LDN’s in-house label to showcase his versatile approach to production.

With the vinyl press being released at the beginning of November, followed by the digital version, which includes the bonus track ‘Backlash’, due out on 14th December, the EP includes two remixes by the club’s close friends Secret Cinema and OC & Verde.

Manchester based OC & Verde bring their stamp to the release with their remix of ‘Rotation’. Using a blend of drawn-out synths to build up a powerful lead, packed with raw percussions, it certainly shows the sonic direction the duo has been working on over the last year.
