While the esteemed Berlin-based artist, DJ and Stil vor Talent label-owner Oliver Koletzki can look back onto an impressive career since his 2005 debut release ‘Der Mückenschwarm’ on Sven Väth’s Cocoon, he challenges the status quo with every single new production and set, drawing from an ever-evolving plethora of styles and moods. Inspired by his extensive travels around the globe, which have taken him from the deserts of Burning Man, Rainbow Serpent and Coachella to the beaches of Tulum, Tel Aviv, Ibiza and beyond, Oliver’s output shines with the maturity of an artist at the top of his game and the playfulness of a youthfully curious mind. Hej people,
this gig at Velvet Soup was wonderful, because of the wonderful crowd that came out this morning, but it also may have been one of the most chaotic gigs ever :D It started with my live computer failing on me, so I had to quickly copy the tracks of my set onto my USB so I could play the Set I prepared on CDJs. "Luckily" the stage had half an hour delay, because the power went out earlier due to the insanely heavy rain, so I had time to do so. With the Allen & Heath Mixer there, that doesn't have Reverb and doesnt send the Microphone Input to the DJ Monitors, it wasn't possible to add any live vocals. I wouldn't have much time to sing anyway, because I had to help set up the record players for the lovely Sutsches while playing. Didn't really matter though because the recording failed as well anyway. I rerecorded my set though (without the one time the CDJ got briefly unpowered), so I could still share all this new tunes with you guys <3 It includes some new collabs with @sydkasd , @ueberhaupt_ausserdem and @monolink and remixes for @temple-tears, @hannesbieger @guylalibertedj @soulofzoo and @kon-faber & Javid

We had the honor and the luck to be part of the 2nd edition of the beautiful Mystic Creatures Festival in 2024 on the wonderful island in Poland and to play at the slightly larger Stage "Creatures Corner" with a nightly Set from us. During the Set, we got wet eyes and goosebumps thanks to the amazing and so touching response from this awesome Creatures Corner-audience! Thanks to all those who danced with us with so much energy into Monday and made the end of the Festival something very special!
