ICONYC are pleased to welcome Berlin based ANMA to the label with his brand new two track 'Abaangui EP' to get any dust infused legs shaking. ANMA who hails from France and needs no further introduction to the electronic music loving soul, delivers a magnificent EP showcasing his exceptional production skills.

We kick things off with the title track 'Abaangui' a peak time techno dance floor monster which features a blend of deep bass tones, driving drum programming, cleverly chopped samples and intricately laced chord progressions, building to a massive breakdown before rebuilding to an unrelenting crescendo of energetic drum beats, chord stabs and an ever-warped bassline. 'Abaangui' is a club monster that growls from the minute you push the play button. 

The accompanying track 'Jasy Jatere' is another pumping club affair utilizing a hypnotizing synth chord as the basis of the track, before all manner of varied melodies weave in and out of the stereo field to close out this wonderful 2 track release in style. ANMA reinforces his reputation as one the scenes most consistent techno performers and once again showcases his huge array of production skills. Incredible stuff!

Carlo Ruetz has built a strong reputation for his particular brand of precision tool techno. The Rostock-born producer and DJ has been making waves since taking the Beatport minimal techno charts by storm and turning the head of tastemaker Richie Hawtin. Welcoming him back to Oliver Huntemann’s killer Senso Sounds, 'Hypersonic' is a four track EP of rare quality. 

'Don’t Know' kicks it off, a bruising, powerful cut that combines a tough-as-nails rhythm section with bubbling, acidic vibes. EP title track 'Hypersonic' ups the ante even more - driving drums provide the bedrock for expressive percussion and a devastating bass pulse. 'Simultan' continues the party - a tech-house monster with filthy sub bass waves and firing rhythm track. The digital bonus track 'Rover' is a stripped down burner of a track with laser cut grooves and thick, atmospheric synth stabs that echo around the audio field.
