Vanessa Contenay-Quinones:- Vanessa is French, Paris born and bred and grew up loving the sounds of the 60’s found sneaking through her Mom and Pops vinyl LP's and 45's…Serge Gainsbourg, Francois Hardy, Polnareff and Jaques Dutronc all figured on her personal stereo as opposed to the current hit acts of the day. Quitting school at 16 to start a life in music Vanessa moved to London, signed a record deal with uber cool Heavenly Records, released a wild Drum & Bass album, recorded with Lou Reed, formed a very cool band called Vanessa & The O’s releasing the fabulous dreamy pop album 'La Ballade d’O'. 
Just after The O's debut, never one to hang around - Vanessa got hooked up with beats and breaks maestro's Alex Rizzo and Elliot Ireland aka SKEEWIFF and together they created the sizzling and delicious 60's french pop sound of 'Vanessa presents Allez Pop!'. That album was way too much fun not to do another and yes indeed the summer of 2014 will see the unveiling of the fabulous part II in the series that is 'MADE IN FRANCE' so come on - 12 new sizzling slices of to die for 60's French pop, chanson, beats and yehyeh..whats not to like mes amis! Allez Allez les Copains!
