Collaborative effort of Celine Fliesica and the Hideous Lovers

Henrik Toresson and Mikael Norstedt started recording together in "Lekis", a Swedish kind of kindergarten. Recordings ranging from the (luckily) unaired radio show 'galant', death/black metal attempts, political punk songs and entire cassette tapes full of farts to impersonations of Svullo and Axl Rose.
In our late teens we started a new project, the idea of recording improvised pop-songs and only using first takes made songwriting a new and exciting task, it also in hindsight occurs to be incredibly brave since both of us always had and have been serious with music and musicianship.
In between playing smooth jazz, progressive metal, indie pop, garage rock and brave attempts to cover works of Frank Zappa along with drummer legend and childhood friend Filip Fjellström, our increasing interest in recording led us to invest in our first 'real' device, a Fostex VF-08 Digital multitracker, later replaced by the big brother VF-16. With a bunch of cheap microphones and little to none knowledge we started to experiment and learn.
We often started out with the drums, basically 610 would just try to play something for one to four minutes, then we added bass and guitars, keyboards and other noises and finally vocals, often with improvised lyrics. 
One album would take us two or three sessions to complete, and during the first year we made 10 of them and sold to our friends for 20 spänn.

the somewhat dadaistic outlet for the duo was as honest as it was misunderstood, and these recordings were often of pretty poor quality in most aspects.. but the naive force was and still is what's most interesting and awesome. And even though it proved difficult to impress or even reach any listener who didn't know or care about our workflow, we still wanted to, and some of the songs were actually really cool.. We ultimately decided to put together a live band in 2003 i think? 
The lineup consisted of 610 (Mikael), vocals and paraphernalia, Toresco(Henrik), Electric guitar and sometimes flute, José Colah/Don Colaps/Teddy Strap-on/Donpa C/Danne Molin/Daniel Molin, drums, his younger brother Scott Hole/Brett Burner/Krister the Fister/Sebbe Molin/Sebastian Molin, electric guitar, Biggen/Dockan/Stenen/Lindströmarn/Birger Lindström, Bass guitar and Döds-svante/Synt-svante/Shaunte Hoshi/Horman/Svante Hellberg.
We recorded the "best of" of our favourite songs with the band and released the Album "Vulgo Cube" in 2006?
We did bizarre and applauded live performances mostly at Old McLovis and Spinnrocken in Södertälje, but a few out of town shows i can remember now was Kulturkentauren in Kristianstad, Mayday Club at Sticky Fingers in Göteborg, Vårdinge by Folkhögskola in Yllehooden and Klubb Agaton in Uppsala.
Though we never disbanded, geography, studies, starting families, generally growing up and participating in various other music acts led to a halt in production, and songs started to take another form as we'd only meet once or twice a year, and for the last album "theseguysdisguisetheskies", comparably  few improvisational elements were kept.
Mikael started his one-man-project "The Person" and joined as a live drummer and later member of the genius cult band "Bondage Fairies" and Henrik started "Svarta Stugan" and did lots of session work including substituting as bass-player for a tour with Bondage Fairies in 2012.
