Navigating us through these topsy turvy times, Joris Voorn whisks us back to a 92 state of mind with this powerful update of a stone cold Dutch techno classic.

Originally produced by The Tellurians (AKA Robert Smit, Ferry Corsten, John Matze and Rene de Ruyter) the original 'Navigator' was a humungous hit across Europe and helped to define the exciting European sound that was emerging in house and techno at the time. Now, 29 years later, the Spectrum boss closes the loop with sincerity, clarity and some seriously heavy bass.

Lowering the tempo, fattening the groove, bringing that demonic one-word vocal to life and adding weaves and weaves of little production details, 'Navigator' has been modernised with subtlety and dark nocturnal soul. Already a key track in Joris' 'Global Underground 43' mix album last year, this marks a whole new lease of life for a track that's older than many of us DJs and ravers alike. Released as the entire scene enjoys a whole new lease of post lockdown life.

"Continuation" - Continuation is a peak time techno track with heavy synth, accompanied by temp varying wobbles and groovy rhythm. This track was made with the intent to continue his journey without stops. The 134 Bpm groove is ready to shake the dance floor, while maintaining Techno Rawness. Heavy rumbles, Acid shots, deep anticipated wobble builds and of course his signature synth stabs will take over the stage during peak time.

"Transit" is a Groovy Acid element track ready for peak time events. Expect to
hear a catchy melody, combined with todays Acid style synth. "Transit" was created with the idea of finally making his way back to his roots and for the love of techno.

Making an outstanding label debut, Amsterdam-based producer Miss Melera delivers her two-track 'Violet / Ivory' EP on Purified Records. Achieving a masterful combination of light and dark elements, ‘Violet' employs a rumbling bassline, laced with soaring synths and melancholic melodies. Rising into ‘Ivory’, Miss Melera intertwines airy pads with intricate percussion, pushed along by a driving, progressive bassline.

After taking up scholarship in the Netherlands and South Africa, 6RAJ returned to North America with deep dancefloor sets inspired by the sounds of global deep house, melodic techno and afrotech. 6RAJ emerged from Montréal’s thriving underground scene as a breakout star with unreleased records supported by Canadian techno legend Richie Hawtin and Berlin trendsetter Martin Eyerer, among others. Their unique style of dark afro-inspired melodic techno has consistently garnered international appreciation: their music has been released on boutique techno labels from Colombia to Turkey, and supported by DJs on Afterlife, Innervisions, Tau, Desert Hearts Black, Stil Vor Talent and Steyoyoke, among others. 6RAJ combines their academic love of philosophy with their artistic passion to cultivate spaces that liberate minds and bodies through a unifying language.

After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouse, backyard, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the monikers David F & Audio Injection, which landed him on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 as resident at the now defunct yet infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz. He currently runs a new event series together with Drumcell and Oktaform named “Observe”.

In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases early on gained critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink, Slam, Loco Dice, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Ellen Alien, Miss Kittin, Carl Cox & Nicole Moudaber. He has also released original works on 50 Weapons, Ultramajic, Blueprint, Ei8ht, Figure and of course his own imprint Truncate. He has also collaborated with Jimmy Edgar, Chambray and most recently started a new project with Ben Sims as ‘Assailants’ which they’ve released on their own imprint ‘Obscurity Is Infinite’.

A rigorous international tour schedule has since followed, including stops and regular appearances at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, Output in New York, and many more.

With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.
