This mix is designed to encompass an ambience of a radio broadcast recorded and found in the wreckage of a lost ship.

When I envision being shipwreck'd I picture a scene of destruction surrounded by life consuming the pieces left behind. Seeing something like that builds hope. You hope that someone or something survived. And even if they did not, you hope they rest peacefully. This half of the concept helps build an image in the mind of the feeling I'm trying to describe with this mix. 
.
The radio aspect appears as a symbol of hope alongside the imagery drawn by the shipwreck. The radio has always been a symbol of hope throughout history. At first spreading love through stories, music, and announcements of life happening. It can still be used to spread love for our species.
.
Driving home after 5 days of working away from the people you love, and someone miles away picks a song that feels just right, that means something to a human being. That can be everything in that moment. Any song can be the song that gets you through today. I hope there's a song on here that gets you through your today, tomorrow, and many days to come friend. Safe travels on this long road ahead.

I hope you enjoy this mix. I built this originally for fun, something to drink beer and party to, Take a road trip to it, See some nature or sit by the pool. Of course it can still be used for that by a listening ear due to the structure, but it has become so much more to me as this broadcast has become what it is today. Thank you for listening. <3

Lincoln, Nebraska-based dubstep duo TrvpSquad (Jeff Taylor & Zachary Hajek) are known across the Midwest for their high energy sets, mainly filled with various styles of dubstep and trap. The project started in 2017 and since then the two have played numerous festivals, supported top touring artists, and released their debut EP with RVBY titled "Neck Flop" via Black Magik.
