A glorious evening, my first burn and the man has just burned to the ground. We head back to camp, Jungle Oddity, to restock on supplies and as a big dust storm starts to really kick up I get the opportunity to jump on the decks...what an experience!!!

Camp mates, close mates, lovers, friends and strangers off the street all grooving away on the dancefloor. To date, and without doubt, this was my most joyful and rewarding Dj'ing experience - even with the temporary power cut! 

Thank you to all the ravers (and whomever refilled the genie) the energy in the room was insane...I also want to send a special thank you to that one couple who kept on going and going and going through out my whole set, I don't know who you are but your moves and your connection to the music was incredible! It made me so happy to play for you and to see you enjoy it so much.

Big thanks also must go to Joshua and Sora for imagining, building and creating such a special place for creative expression and to Ryan (DJ Katsu), Jorel and all the other DJ's for the support.

Anton Zavyalov, widely recognized as the frontman of Russian hip-hop band 25/17, takes a bold step into the world of electronic music with his solo project Ant+Shift. Known for its rich analog textures and genre-defying sound, Ant+Shift blends eclectic dance music with a distinctly personal aesthetic. His latest release, “High Water”, marks not only a significant milestone in his solo career but also serves as the inaugural release for SE:VER, a new dance label dedicated to contemporary club music.

“High Water” is a powerful reinterpretation of the 1910 poem “Spring Floods” by Sergei Yesenin, reimagined through the haunting vocals of Russian folk ensemble Kasha. Layered over Ant+Shift’s signature club-oriented techno production, the track bridges traditional Russian lyricism with modern electronic sonics—creating a deep, emotionally charged listening experience that defies simple categorization.

The track premiered live at Wild Mint: Violet, a prominent festival in Russia, where Ant+Shift performed it in front of an audience at the WBC stage. The performance marked a symbolic beginning for both the artist’s new chapter and SE:VER’s journey as a label.

Ant+Shift, one of the label’s co-founders, envisions SE:VER as a platform for forward-thinking electronic music rooted in artistic experimentation and cultural resonance. If spring floods can arrive even in late summer, as the Russian saying goes, this debut signals the start of a creative surge that is only just beginning.

Try Harder is a DJ from London who doesn’t take himself too seriously, influenced heavily by the city’s underground rave scene and his travels to the electronic music meccas of Berlin, Ibiza & Burning Man. 

Always trying harder he’s now been lucky enough to play parties in London, New York, Paris, Ibiza, Palm Springs and Black Rock City. 

He’s not perfect and never will be but he will always Try Harder 😊
