The lagahoo, also called La gahou comes from the French words Loup Garou meaning werewolf, it also has African Bowakazi and Ilimu influences.The Lagahoo makes known of his presence by rattling chains which he drags at midnight down streets and he also carries a bunch or dried reeds and sticks as a whip in his hand.
