This fluid state of energy flows through everything, ever-changing and ungraspable, cleansing us as we let go. Fluide is full of emotive characteristics that touch your Heart, Mind and Soul. A minimalistic approach, highlights the organic elements, instrumentation and real-world samples. This bringing the listeners’ attention closer to the progressive development of the rhythms and melodies. Continuing that same gradual expansion of the MantisMash catalog, the syncretic Blisstorted EP covers a wide territory of fusions and rhythms.

Grounded in the lucid repetition of psydub and its fraternal siblings, Blisstorted brings breaks, neuro, drum and bass, and glitch-hop into a fresh focus, pulling classic arrangement hallmarks from each respective pool. With heavy emphasis on melody-driven songwriting and crystal clear mixing fundamentals, each of the five tracks hit the center mark for taste, novelty, and a consistent dance-floor mentality. After three years, UrbnMowgli resurfaces with his EP on his own imprint, Emotional Voyage. With ‘Ancient Knowledge Transmission’ [EVR014] he fuses cascading drum machine rhythms with rapid-fire basslines, acidic sequences, whimsical leads and chopped sample bits to create otherworldly rave relics. A solid blend from video game characteristics to shaking club rhythms.

The four-track EP drifts between moody Lynchian atmospheres and menacing beat drops. More than tracks, these are playful yet meticulous journeys, sculpted with wide spatial depth, teleporting the listener into futuristic electro breakbeat. This production definitely got all dust off the synths and shows once more his versatility of UrbnMowgli’s hybrid approach inviting you into a realm of internal imagery.

I wanted to put together an hour set of the sort of thing you can expect if you come to see me play live, it's more or less all of my released music (with one new thing at the end) and i love playing it on a big system, doesn't sound too bad on headphones either though!

This is the culmination of about a decade of making music, from the shitty tracks i used to make on my PS1 to now has been quite a journey!

So, here's my set from the Chillout Gardens at #Boomfestival 2016. So exciting to play there for the first time, a beautiful and crazy experience..!  This was a 12:00 - 14:00 set in the crazy sunshine (shaded..) for some context.. :) Also, in the interests of openness, this is a backup of my set, as I couldn't record the actual set, due to technical issues (and even had to rely on this backup at times). Still, it all come out OK and we shared a magical 2 hours....!! I hope you can find some of that magic here... X
