Podcast #013 : Ricardo Donoso.

Ricardo Donoso is a composer, percussionist and electronic musician from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil who currently resides in Boston. After having studied composition at Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory he has participated in a slew of projects over the years, from holding down the drum chair in new music/avant-metal visionaries Ehnahre to scoring for recent documentary features such as Greg Barker’s “Homegrown: The Counter Terror Dilemma” (HBO pictures 2016) and the Grand Prize short film winner in Brazilian cinema “Casimiro Effect”. Donoso has since collaborated with film makers & video artists on commissions worldwide creating immersive environments & performances.
As a solo recording artist, Donoso has released music on esteemed labels such as Denovali, Digitalis, Further Records and Hospital Productions, and continues to tour throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America. He is most concerned with building and manipulating an immersive sound world that blurs the line between light and dark, hope and despair, past and future. Under a chain of progressive rhythms, cinematic textures and elegant melodicism, Donoso’s work pushes through with piercing strength, manipulating a sonic wave through space with nothing but pulse and mind blowing intensity.

Adiel, resident Dj at Goaultrabeat from Goa Club in Rome, early strong interests and attitudes towards various form of arts, have clearly guided her life and growth through an intense, stylish and creative path into domestic and worldwide night-life and club culture.
She discovered her real vocation for sound and music, her passion for vinyl spinning and her true love for all boundaries from deep to techno music, that pushed her prodigious steps into the booth without hesitation.
Together with top class mixing skills, her DJ-sets are now able to bring any crowd into a trip to far, unexplored musical galaxies. 
Able to render and share her profound and still ethereal emotions into a musical journey that drives the whole dance-floor on a perfectly tylored musical spaceship through crystal forests and obscure dephts.
A fascinating emphatic flow, hard not to follow her blindly into this intriguing musical experience.

The Retina.it are a Dj duo formed by Lino Monaco and Nicola Buono. Their duo is born and grows in the Vesuvius area;
They show interest in music since the 90s, exploring the whole field of analog synth, so that develop the idea and more ambient sound or very fluid, hybrid 360°.
One of their best known album is "Volcano Waves - 1.8" come to life with the label Hefty Records (USA).

Podcast #016 : Periskop. 
Periskop is a solo project of Danish electronic music producer Danny Kreutzfeldt. The style has been described as industrial dub techno, dark ambient and submarine noise.
Most output of Danny Kreutzfeldt was produced in periods of hyperproductivity from 2001 to 2008 with the first production efforts dating back to early teenage-hood in the mid-90s. Contemporary Periskop releases are still predominantly based on remade or modified tracks from this body of work.
Kabalion Records released the full-length 'Immerse' in 2015 with deep pulsating dark ambient and the EP 'North' in August 2016 with dark ambient techno.
At the moment Periskop is not an active live act, but Danny Kreutzfeldt is performing as DJ from time to time under his own name or as Periskop. He is also currently affiliated with the Danish doom metal band SOL.

Podcast #017 : Kaelan.
Nico Campanella was born in Putignano (Italy). His first approach to music took place at the age of 11 years when he started to study piano, and shortly after, thanks to his great devotion and deep passion for everything concerning music, he was involved in different local bands.
Subsequently, his love for electronic music started to blossom, thanks to great artists such as Basic Channel, Robert Hood, Substance et Vainqueur, Derrick May, Jeff Mills and many others.
During the last few years, his necessity to propose a multifaceted vision of electronic music, made it necessary to create new projects, such as “Kaelan”, which became his main alias for techno. Under his side project “2030” he propose electro inspired music, while “Ixm” is his pseudo for dub techno music.
He is owner of Subosc and co-owner of Ranges label projects. The former aims to propose modern and classy techno music, while the latter is a tribute to reminiscent dub techno sounds.
At the moment he’s collaborating with some of the most known techno european labels such as CONSTRUCT RE-FORM, CLFT, Monnom Black.

Presenting “Ember Solace”; a new guest mix from Tryptophant which takes listeners on a journey through psychedelic landscapes, shaped with the harmonies of organic instruments and the whelm of electromagnetic oscillations. The mix features music from a variety of psybass veterans and modern folklore warriors, and it acts as a perfect gateway to some of this genre’s great artists.

Closing set on the Chillout Floor of "Alice im Wummerland XII" in Mannheim. Very grateful to get a chance to play at the very birthplace of this project. The first event I visited I stumbled on this floor and was immediately intrigued by what turned out to be a "Legasthenics" performance. From that point there was no going back and my musical journey started.

This journey is dedicated to mental health awareness, manifested in track and label choice. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, lend an ear and a shoulder to those in need <3
