With its motto “Music with a Soul, Connections & Discoveries”, Steppin’Motion has established itself as a cultured vinyl only record label and event series, with a focus on music as an Art. We believe that a record is more than a piece of PVC with tracks on it, it is a piece of music history and a piece of art we carefully crafted for years before its release, with original artworks by talented painters.
The family ethos has led forward-looking artists and legendary venues all working with the label, offering established names with fast rising stars on the events line-ups.
The art of DJing and a passion for the Vinyl medium are always in focus and has helped earn Steppin’Motion a reputation as one of the most passionate brands in underground music.

If you want to get straight to the music, I have my Soundcloud set up by DJ name, band name, and/or label under "Playlists" on this page or you can just go thru reposts and/or likes for a variety. Lil bit of everything there.  

I am very passionate about music particularly melodic techno, techno, deep and progressive house. I also love some good breakbeats, minimal, jump-up and liquid dnb as well. This all started with my journey through trance (1998) which I still have much respect as it was the start to everything electronic that I now know today. Gotta respect your roots. Always.

I have a very open mind and love good music period - doesn't matter what genre. I think it is a mistake to only stick to one genre. Good music is good music and has been the catalyst to so much in my life.  Music is home. Music connects us all. 🖤

Kenia is a Spanish-born DJ and event producer based in New York City, recognized for her eclectic sound that fuses house, electro, and dance music. She has released mixes for Razor-N-Tape and The Lot Radio and is now expanding into music production, incorporating her own vocals into her tracks.

She also runs Alegria Community, a music and art collective that throws events, releases music through Alegria Records, and supports artists by promoting and selling their work. Through Alegria, she shares music, builds creative spaces, and backs projects that push culture forward.
