Marcel, the real name under the moniker ‘whø?’(@who22), is a DJ based in Berlin who is behind our 4Oth N2MU podcast . This novel artist defines himself as a music lover and vinyl addict;  he made his debut as a producer last year and is already making his way in the electro scene thanks to his genre-defying interests combined with curiosity, a passion for collecting music and a good feeling to build a set.  All these vital pillars are noticeable in this cracking podcast which offers expertly-melded electro with glimpses of acid and subtle breaks. ‘Haasten’ (translates into hurrying) has been destroying crowds during Egbert’s live sets around the globe for the past few months. A dark commanding bass line that skips over the beat is accompanied by a retro sounding orchestral jab to create what is looking to become one of this year’s biggest techno tracks!

The B-side ‘Yourself’ has also proven to be a crowd pleaser and is paving the way for the future of percussion based techno. The punishing drums, deep basses, narrow mids and rattling hats kick ass throughout the track before taking a break for 30 seconds to introduce some melody and continue on mercilessly afterwards.

Growing up together in the shadow of a U.S. Army base in West Germany during their formative years, Thomas "Saap" Sabrowsky and Daniel Nentwig of the Berlin-based duo The Working Elite have offered up their recreational EP, 'Bumper Cars', to Tim Sweeny's Beats in Space imprint as a "small act of diplomatic celebration."

Ahead of the EP's digital release, duo member Saap and Lauer of Tuff City Kids have offered up a glossy electro remix of 'Rockman'. Complete with pummeling lows and slamming synth compositions, this fast-paced and distinct rework is a modish ode to old-school electro that works wonders on the dancefloor.

Sun finds the jungle like needle on wax / Slowly it creeps until finally...SPLASH
With bright beams of sunshine, birds start to sing / The forest awakens, a new day begins!
Below tramples Crocodile, Dino at side / The kaleidoscope leaves casting prisms of light
They push on ahead, for they mustn’t be late / A brand new adventure simply can’t wait

But sometimes adventures can lead to strange places/ Sun disappears, and the weirdest of faces/
Loom from the shadows, a darkness within/ A twist in your tummy, the walls closing in/
Our two brave explorers, with widening eyes/ See the jungle hiss back, a thousand red eyes

But wait –

From the shadows, a cold silver tear/ A spaceship abandoned by lost pioneers
The friends know at once that they must get inside/ They yank and they crank till the door opens wide
But how does it work? Can it get to the sky?/ The answer is here – a button says ‘FLY’
They strap themselves in as the instruments ping/ The spaceship unfolding its silvery wings
They look at each other, all engines a-hum / Time becomes lightyears, adventure begun!
