나는 몸이 듣는 통로가 되는 유동적 매질임을 상상한다. 처음에는 그것이 지극히 개인적인 상상처럼 느껴진다. 거의 직관에 가까운 감각처럼. 
그러나 그 상상을 자꾸 되뇌일수록, 그것은 하나의 구조를 닮아가기 시작한다. 감각이 음에 앞서고, 고정된 중심을 갖지 않는 그 앞섬은 
이미 지연되고 어긋나 있으며, 아직 도달하지 않은 것을 향해 미끄러지는 운동이될 것이다. 

이로써 몸은 경계없이 조율되는 장으로, 듣는다는 것은 사라지고 있는 흔적과 아직 도래하지 않은 울림 사이에 머무는 일. 그리하여 고정되지 않고, 결론 맺히지 않은 채, 끊임없이 생성되어 가는 공간이 되어가길 바라며 ...

I imagine a fluid medium through which the body learns to listen. 
At first, this feels intensely personal, almost a matter of intuition. But the more I return to it, the more it begins to resemble a structure.
Sensation comes before the note. What precedes it has no fixed center. 
It is already delayed and slightly misaligned, moving toward what has not yet arrived.

In this way the body becomes a field tuned with no boundaries.
To listen is to dwell between traces that disappear and echoes yet to come. 
And so I wish the body becomes a liminal space of becoming ...

February 2026 carries acceleration ~ Aquarius season opens the vision, the Lunar New Year ushers in the Fire Horse, and we move toward a Full Lunar Eclipse in Virgo.
Space Drum Meditation craft immersive, ritual-infused sound worlds through hypnotic percussion and meditative techno architecture. 
This mix feels like a true threshold ~ shedding the final skin of the Snake and stepping into the Fire Horse. Dense, mental, instinctive terrain where rhythm becomes meditation… and meditation becomes momentum.

NTS RADIO GIGI FM PRESENTS SPACE DRUM MEDITATION

For this new season of Look Inside, we welcome Verveine @verveine_ the project of French artist Julien Morrisse. He crafts deeply immersive sonic journeys that unfold patiently and intuitively. His approach moves beyond strict genres, focusing instead on evolving sound narratives where texture, space and rhythm interweave.

Julien is also one of the co-founders of Ouroboros Festival in France and a member of the radio and visual arts collective EWO (@ewo_collectif). The collective has presented installations and audiovisual interventions in experimental festival contexts, including Monument Festival (@mnmt.no). Through these initiatives, his work extends beyond the traditional DJ format into immersive performances and experimental listening contexts.

Alongside his work with the festival and the collective, he has contributed mixes and sessions to a range of independent radio platforms and underground festivals across Europe, including Perpendicular Festival. His selections often drift through ethereal ambient textures, dub-influenced low-end frequencies and organic, tribal percussion, forming hypnotic sonic landscapes that gently guide both body and mind.

For this episode, in his own words, Verveine delivers ✺ a very personal selection through ambient, dub and world music to go with the early sun rays. Warm and nostalgic vibes for those precious moments, when you take the time, quietly, to watch new day rise ✺

My latest track “Mirage Eyes” is part of For the People of Palestine Vol. 1, a compilation created to support people in Palestine facing urgent humanitarian conditions.

This release brings together artists from diverse scenes and backgrounds, united by a shared intention to provide tangible support through music. Volume 1 focuses on club-oriented sounds, with each track created specifically for this compilation.

Common Tongue is a non-commercial, volunteer-run project dedicated exclusively to fundraiser releases and events. Working with international underground artists, the project uses music as a shared language to raise funds and awareness for humanitarian causes.
