Oval

when opportunity knocks
on a window, at evening
and the ways of the world 
make you hesitate to open

the one that'll pass

until her fists will start bleeding
for that's what she does
and that's what she's needing

let's say, but I'll deny it,
that the mind 
has an oval shape

she will change her appearance
every other time, be it night, be it day
cause opportunity knocks 
when opportunity may
again and again
till the time you will open, 
invite her inside
offer tea and some bisquits
the day once will come
when she knocks on the window
in a perculiar way

to water the plant
she's so lovingly seeded

We are grateful for the use of vocal samples from the package "Magix Trance - The Vocal Trance" purchased and integrated into the music by Tom.

The artwork cover for the track is based on a photo by Tom of 11 September 2013 that was cropped and annotated in Mac OS Preview by Alex M and Tom in coordination on 8 October 2023.
