R.& (pronounced “are-ampersand” or “are-and”) is a DJ and promoter based in Texas and New Mexico, and a core member of Tusks, a collective known for pushing the boundaries of underground electronic music in the Southwest. He began DJing during the COVID-19 pandemic, teaching himself the fundamentals of mixing before honing his craft alongside respected DJs in the El Paso scene. 

His dedication and evolving sound quickly earned him local recognition, leading to frequent performances and direct support slots for international acts like Fur Coat and Anthony Linell (a/k/a Abdulla Rashim) at Club Function in El Paso. 

Shaped by the deep, gritty textures of the Borderplex underground, R.& now curates sets that explore the hypnotic corners of techno, progressive house, and dub, crafting immersive and mind-bending dance floor experiences.
