Break Innovation Tapes vol.1

創造と挑戦をバックアップするプロジェクト「Break Innovation Club」から、初のビートテープがリリース。

これまで、Bboyたちのシグネチャームーブを収めた映像作品を残してきたBIC。
その映像のために制作されたトラックの中から、選りすぐりの8曲を収録し、ビートテープとしてリリース。

“創造に没頭するためのトラック”をノンストップで繋ぎ、
カセットテープというフォーマットで再構成。
ひとりでの制作や集中したい時間に寄り添う、全9曲構成。

同時リリースとなるBIC Banger Teeでは、このビートテープのトラック名をもとに構成されたグラフィックを採用。音と視覚、それぞれの角度からBICの思想を描き出すセットアップになっている。

全楽曲はtzbasaがプロデュース。
無機質で未来的な質感と、エレクトロニックの文脈がにじむ音像は、BICが掲げる“創造と挑戦”の哲学に静かに共鳴している。

It’s been 1 year since our very first mix. For those who don’t know, RareJointz is a 3-member DJ Crew based in Vietnam: DJ Slowz,Dj Ben Blue & Dj 2T. Apart from dedicating the music to local b-boy jams and parties, we always focus on digging for ‘Black Gold’ – Vinyl Records all day, every day, keeping the hiphop culture alive.

“In Dust We Trust” is not just a normal b-boy mixtape, it's is the message that RareJointz members wanna spread to the scene about digging culture, lifestyle & real music for b-boying. The mix is packed with original b-boy breaks, not-so-known-well tunes and some of our Asian flavors. We all understand about the revolution of music nowadays but we always try our best to just be us, dig harder to find the real grooves and rhythms that inspire Breaking as it had to be.

We hope that this mixtape is gonna be a funky inspiration for your training sessions as well as music passion. ストリートダンサーとして培った多様な音楽体験を抽出し、折衷的でフィジカルなグルーヴを展開。盤石なボトムキープ&アップでフロアの足を止めないプレイに定評がある。
20代前半に東京のミニマル/ディープハウスシーンの急先鋒として台頭し、2017年にフランス・パリの"yoyaku"の初来日をサポート。以来、地元横浜をはじめ日本各地のヴェニューにて活動を続ける。
現在は渋谷KOARAの老舗パーティー"探心音"にてレジデントを務める。

本名名義ではinterfm "Mint Juice Radio"の制作からレギュラーDJまでを担当。幅広い音楽性ながら一貫した哲学を投影し、コアなリスナーの信頼を獲得している。
近年はトラックメイキングやファッションブランドへの楽曲提供も開始し、シーンを超えた幅広い活動を積極的に行っている。

Drawing from a diverse range of musical experiences cultivated as a street dancer, he develops an eclectic and physical groove. Rising to the forefront of the Tokyo’s Minimal/Deep House scene in his early twenties, he supported the first Japan visit of 'yoyaku' from Paris, France, in 2017. Since then, he has been playing gigs in his hometown Yokohama and other venues around Japan. Currently, he is a resident DJ at the long-established party 'Tan-shin-on' at KOARA in Shibuya.

Under his real name, he is involved in everything from production to regular DJing for "Mint Juice Radio" broadcasted at Japanese radio station InterFM. Projecting a consistent philosophy despite his broad musicality, he has earned the trust of core listeners. In addition to his own radio program, in recent years, he has also started track making and provides music for fashion scenes, actively engaging in a wide range of activities beyond the scene.
