Rotterdam-based producer and sound artist Nikos lands on Flippen Bits with his debut EP, encapsulating his ever-evolving live sound in a tripped out four-tracker. 
Playfully layering rhythmic patterns, this textural debut EP takes inspiration from the sounds of techno, dub, bass music, drone, psytrance and morphs it into a trip of a debut outing.

Starting off slow and deep with trippy chugger Critter that delicately explores the spaces between the 6/8 and 4/4 metre, the EP picks up pace rapidly with the swooshing Cilia, a hypnotic techno track with breathy textures.

Nothing To Undo takes us further aspace with its polyrhythmic structures dancing around droney pads, while title track Metaturnal provides the perfect closing of the EP with psychedelic five-and-a-half minutes that continues the polyrhythmic Mantra of the EP with a more minimal approach.

The initiatory release on the co:clear label is a stunning debut by Brooklyn-based artist, Eden Aurelius. Written between Chicago and New York throughout 2023, 'Plateau' is a lacework of chiller dub-techno and ambient sparkle, crafted via recorded material, astute sampling, and live instrumentation. Rounded off with a stellar remix from your favourite ambient boyband (Purelink), this record is one for the serial unwinders.

Growing up in Munich, it was the environment of Berlin, and in particular the now defunct underground venue Griessmuehle, that shaped the early sound of Jo, then known as ioth. Influenced by local communities and the international music avant-garde, he shaped the sound that became the Jotel California trademark: Melting together trance, house, acid and electro into a bubbling cauldron of progressive energies. As a DJ, he's proved his mettle on countless club floors and DIY raves he's organised with friends outside Berlin. With releases on labels such as Klasse Wrecks, Inch by Inch and of course his own Warning crew, he quickly made a name for himself among musical connoisseurs and hungry ravers alike.
