Furtive's super-saturated genre-mashing set from the SEQUENCE Four Year Anniversary stream. This set zips through pointillist techno hypnotics, drum'n'bass wigglers, tongue-in-cheek pop-club deconstructions, neo-rave pedal-pushers, and cryptic ambient book-ends. One hell of a journey. 

Recorded in August 2020 during pandemic swelter, this set was played at the last event organized by SEQUENCE in an important warehouse venue formerly vital to DC's underground. While SEQUENCE and this same warehouse may have been laid to rest, the energy of the events and the memories of foggy warehouse experiences will live with us forever.

Strange Echoes 95 — 99 is music that woke up yesterday bearing a message for tomorrow. Excavated from the late-90s and largely rematerialising for the first time on vinyl, the album carries a selection of sonic diamonds by bona fide sound experimenter Xingu Hill (John Sellekaers). The fully remastered tracks pull the curtain back two decades to offer a snapshot of a prolific five-year period in Sellekaers' expansive soundverse, which runs the gamut from brain-bending, emotive ambient outings to driving, acerbic industrial experiments. Timeless music for keeps in the age of disposables; a reference to early rave and trip-hop aesthetics that could just as very well be one music clairvoyant's nostalgia-inspired preview of things to come.

Brooklyn-based, Iranian-American artist Aria Rostami takes the helm for the next Shaytoon release with the “Bolbol” EP. Aria is a contemporary artist who has been releasing exquisite electronic albums in the last decade with a stunning ear for sound design, alluring melodies and irresistible emotions in his music. Bolbol features a palette of sonic potions from him along with remixes from legendary Iranian experimental artist Sote, as well as two remixes from label boss Sepehr.

Each J-card is hand made with the text embossed and are all rose scented. Maxwell XLII-S high bias tape with Real-Time Duplication. Comes with download codes for 3 albums, Bolbol, Time Apart in the West and Maramar. Only 100 copies produced

Grid 6th release is a unique one from Londoner Joe Arthur AKA Kincaid, comprising of six completely mind-blowing tracks, brimming with sublime sound design.

With everything from foley and footsteps, to tempo changes and analogue synthesis, there is a complete spectrum that is fully apparent here. Many styles that Kincaid has already demonstrated via labels like Well Street Records, Banoffee Pies & Accidental Meeting.

This release has a slightly deeper, introspective feel to it though. All the tracks were written within a week in February last year, deep in a lockdown. “It was a particularly difficult time for me, and the record reflects that, each track representing a catharsis with different issues”

It culminates into an incredibly personal and beautiful release, with frequent samples of memories featuring family & friends that relate to specific places and moments for Joe.

Welcome in the Cotswolds, near Bristol.
