The Reign in the Selfies EP is the latest release from emerging electronica and techno producer Pete Callard on Det Sync. The 6 track package features remixes from Curses, Wade Bennett, Owen Ezard & TKUZ with each remixer adding their own brand of electronica to each of the tracks.

Pete Callard and Curses are both having an amazing 2016 in the world of music. So when we heard they were joining forces on Det Sync’s new release, track called ‘the rocket dog’ we jumped at the chance to give you all an EXCLUSIVE sneak listen to the Curses remix. We absolutely love it. One of the remixes of the year in our humble. Like one of my friends said - "Is that what they play in heaven" - now it’s time for you to enjoy this absolute masterpiece.

PREMIERE: Pete Callard - Rocket Dog (Curses Remix) [Det Sync] 2016

For eleven years already, Fenou has been a synonym for a stylish sound between harmonious electronica and swinging minimal electro. The small but fine sub-division of the well-known Mo's Ferry Productions has created an entirely own niche within the international club scene. Since 2010 the „Fenou Bouquet“ compilations have also established themselves as a representative overview of the multifaceted work of the Berlin-based talent factory. After the previous parts have been compiled by fantastic music selectors such as Marcel Knopf, Dapayk and Douglas Greed, the Leipzig-based musician and producer Stefan Streck aka The Micronaut is responsible for Vol.4. Welcome to „Fenou Bouquet Vol.4 by The Micronaut“!

The Micronaut already left his mark on the last „Fenou Bouquet“ compilation with his track called „Two Lovers“. After the Leipzig-based artist has already released three longplayer elsewhere and rocked the floors at festivals such as the Fusion, the Dutch Eurosonic or Tallinn Music Week, The Micronaut now proudly presents himself as one of the most exciting and promising newcomers on Fenou! Just like the previous „Fenou Bouquet“ releases, Vol.4 kept the conceptual idea to provide a rousing mix of new exclusive tracks, remixes and carefully selected material from the extensive Fenou-Rooster. Although for the first time there is a non-Fenou title that found its way on Vol.4: „Rockit“ by Greeko originally published on Mo's Ferry.

Although the mixture of „Fenou Bouquet Vol.4 by The Micronaut“ is as diverse as the artists themselves, there is a recurring theme: „I wanted to tell a story with the compilation of these tracks,“ said the Micronaut describing this handpicked composition of Vol.4. The compilation represents the likes and dislikes of this Thirty-something guy from Saxony, who also produces soundtracks and image films for various companies. „I like blue, tragic, epic tracks. Tracks that stimulate the inner eye and create images. Tunes that are simply danceable, would be too dull for me.“ And so The Micronaut presents not only The Magician & The Scientist, From Karaoke To Stardom but also Interelektrika and Zaquoir. „I want to take people on a trip.“ A journey that begins with the opener by Martin Kohlstedt and slowly but steady continues to build. „‚Am‘ is a great way to get in the mood. It is also very interesting to hear the interplay of beat and harmony in Lake Powel's ‚Bright Eyes, Dirty Hair (Acid Pauli & NU Remix)‘ while Dapayk's remix of Mooryc ‚Simply‘ pushes forward with high intensity. This dancefloor steamroller is really very out of character, but represents an important contrast to the mood of the entire track list.“

Paris-based band Vox Low drops a new remixes EP on Alvaro Cabana’s Rotten City Records that features this superb hazy version from ‘My Broken Frame’ aka solo project of Guillaume Leglise, also guitarist of the band. They turned this originally sensible cinematic pop song into an extended cold-blooded kraut cover, mostly built around hallucinogenic synth layers, whipping binary drums, kinky grunge guitars and that haunting sonar bleep that will never leave your mind in peace, for our very pleasure. The track was previously released digitally in 2016 , but its so good that finally he got a deserved vinyl release.  
EP also includes remixes of ‘Ready To Spend’ - killer tune from their last album - from Marvin & Guy, Holographic Planes and themselves. Out on april 5th just to remind you that winter is still not far away.

Anjunadeep, the renowned UK label responsible for breaking acts like Lane 8, Dusky, Yotto, Cubicolor, Ben Böhmer and Eli & Fur, present the inaugural installment of their new downtempo compilation series ‘Reflections’. Marking the label’s 500th release, ‘Reflections Vol. 1’ features a handcrafted selection of 10 downtempo electronic cuts from the label’s biggest stars including Yotto and Lane 8, Anjunadeep breakout talents Qrion and Nox Vahn while welcoming new names PSBR, Kitput and Vár Sofandi into the fold.

‘Reflections Vol. 1’ presents a selection of new and exclusive electronic tracks, ranging from the piano-led melodies of Yotto’s ‘Maggio’, Deep 08 favourites Lane 8’s ‘Apes & Children’ and Croquet Club’s ‘Slow Mo’, both seeing a long awaited full release, alongside fresh ambient contributions and label debuts from Germany’s Kitput, London-based multi-instrumentalist PSBR and Finland’s Vár Sofandi.

The album's second single comes courtesy of Anjunadeep legend Yotto with the piano led melodies of ‘Maggio’. Since making his debut on the label in 2015, Yotto has garnered a global following and resounding tastemaker backing; with steady support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard, while his 2018 debut album ‘Hyperfall’ reached #1 on Billboard’s Dance Album Chart, and saw him tour the world and play at Coachella. Since then Yotto has established his own label, Odd One Out, putting out a string of club cuts supported by the likes of Tale Of Us, Artbat and Eric Prydz.
