As both a DJ and a producer BARUS is on an ongoing discovery through the Techno, Industrial and Goth scenes. Despite his solo productions he is part of the live crew of the legendary Industrial band EXTIZE. His new project GEGEN DIE VERNUNFT brings raw and authentic techno to the dance floors. When DJ BARUS takes command of the decks, a ritualistic energy envelopes the dance floor. His sets are a masterclass in sonic manipulation, a relentless sonic assault that commands the body and soul. Whether in a dimly lit warehouse or a festival stage, his performances are a testament to the raw power of music.

Mainly oscillates around psychedelic varieties of electronic music, such as Psytrance and Psychill/Chillgressive. 
The elements connecting most of the sets is a deep resonant, rib-breaking bass, a large dose of psychedelia, a lot of oriental samples and long ecstatic build-ups.
He also occasionally romances with melodic house and oriental/ethno.
