COOL ASS SONGS 13: Destiny is Destiny

Made for the July 2021 Image-Line forum compo. 

Rules were to only use stock FL Studio drum samples, effects and the synth Autogun which is a "seed only" synth -- it doesn't have any meaningful controls beyond picking a preset. 

Most of the Autogun presets are weird, slightly non-harmonic ambient stuff drowned in verb and with very slow envelopes, so it took some work in Patcher to make them sharp and stabby.

Everyone knows this track for being jumpy and funky. Well, has anyone taken the time to ask what would happen if you slowed down the tempo a little, and cranked up the funky knob? Actually, probably yeah, but my job here is to make that dream a reality.

This is some of the more exciting stuff for now. I was really happy to be part of the album and contribute with this remix. I must say I'm really proud, and look forward to way more funky stuff from me soon!

Well, this was supposed to be a 25th Anniversary remix for the Sonic the Hedgehog, but I was running into a few inspiration issues. That was, until I remember that a good bit of S.t.H songs kinda sound like other popular songs. So I used that to my advantage.
