Many know her as the first female Palestinian DJ, Sama’ Abdulhadi is a techno rebel with a cause. Proud of her heritage, ever since a young age the DJ and producer felt an obligation to her country. Not only has she become a face of the emerging electronic music and experimental techno scene in the Middle East, but she’s also creating opportunities for others. 

We chatted about why she keeps pushing boundaries with music, her out-of-body experience during her b2b with Nicole Moudaber, and why it’s important to give it your best every single time.

At one point last year, I thought I was done with my #alonetogether live streams (if you missed some, check my Youtube channel). Not that I don't enjoy those streams, I do very much, but playing in front of real people just can't be beaten. Anyways, since this pandemic is somehow never-ending, I decided to dust off my streaming equipment and lock myself in again, just before X-Mas, for five and a half hours in my Stream Rave Cave, to play some music. Today's show contains the fourth hour of the complete set, as usual in a better audio quality than in the video stream. Of course, the video is still in its full glory on my Youtube Channel as well. If you are on Mixcloud Select, you can even download this set and a lot more music on your phone. I hope you enjoy this one, I really did playing it. It is actually fun to do those streams on my own, essentially taking care of the lights, visuals, internet connection, stream, camera angles, hot teas (it was cold in there) - oh yeah.. and the music of course… This set is delivered in 5 parts, so watch out for it...

PS: Please mind that the track listings here are never in the order that I played the tracks, but at least you know what I played, right?… Sorry for that ;)

Tuhin Mehta is an iconic figure in India's thriving techno scene. With an impressive track record spanning over three decades and a penchant for innovation, he stands tall as one of the foremost contributors to the dance music landscape in India.

A professionally certified sound engineer hailing from SAE in Chennai and also serving as an international ambassador for Berklee College of Music, Tuhin boasts an unmatched grasp of the technical intricacies of sound production. His journey took a significant turn in 2007 when he assumed the role of Pioneer DJ Product Specialist for India, a position he continues to hold, steering the brand's growth in the country. 

Tuhin's musical prowess extends far and wide, from headlining at some of the largest clubs to crafting chart-topping tunes featured on award-winning albums. Notably, he is the driving force behind one of India's premier music festivals, Go:Madras, hosted in his hometown of Chennai. His enduring presence in India's dance music scene is undeniable.
