"When I started putting together the tracklist for this mix, I think I knew I wanted to create a mix that could showcase what I could do when given a more peak-time slot and a club ready with dancers wanting to get loose. It’s filled with some of my favourite club tracks whilst going through the motions in terms of genre, style, energy. Lots of rolling techno, euphoric breakdowns and tracks I’ve not generally had the chance to play out in a club scenario yet. It’s a long one at 2 hours, but I hope people enjoy it enough to stay till the end. It finishes on one of my favourite tracks Tys - Astral that sums up my style of DJing to an extent - feel good nostalgia."

“En este mixtape presento música local de gente que admiro muchísimo, también música que no ha salido a luz y música de artistxs que me han inspirado en su momento. Me gusta brincar en distintos tipos de géneros que creo son ambient, dub techno, breakbeat, house, garage, trance y ver si funcionan juntos. Algo constante que se escuchará en este set son ambiencias, bajos intensos y diferentes tipos de ritmos, rebajados y eventualmente rápidos; me parece va escalando y luego cierra cómo empezó tranquilamente. No es perfecto pero me divertí, ojalá lo disfrute quien lo escuche, la música es infinita y puede ser un loop infinito a la hora de producir, mezclar, experimentar. Shotout a la bandita que me compartió sus unreleased para este mix y que me ha apoyado en su momento.“

We don’t really have a regular cadence or release schedule for the mix series, but when we release something, you can trust it will be special. That being said, very excited to share the second transmission in the Dance Data mix series, courtesy of SØMA. 

After hearing her play last year while in CDMX, I knew I wanted to get a recording from her. And as promised, it delivers on all fronts. Thank you @soma__mx
