Rhodium is a collaborative group that emerged in 2023, bringing together a unique blend of musical backgrounds and styles. The group consists of four talented members: Amita Fukui on keys, Josh Gecowets on guitar, Thaddeus 'Indi'Gxld' Adams on vocals, and Drew Prentice on bass. Their journey began when Josh and Amita decided to evolve their existing duo, 'Black Zola', into a full-fledged band by merging their sound with the captivating hip hop, soul, and RnB influences of Indi'Gxld. This fusion created a rich tapestry of dynamics and sounds that is signature to Rhodium
Since their formation, Rhodium has been solidifying their presence in the Charleston music scene, performing at some of the city's most prominent venues, including the Charleston Pour House, Royal American, LoFi Brewing, and Fox Music House. Their live shows are known for being heartfelt and organic, captivating audiences with a sound that intertwines elements of rock, funk, jazz, hip hop, and RnB
Rhodium is currently building a dedicated following, thanks to their dynamic performances and the authenticity they bring to their music. They have created a playlist featuring their unreleased tracks, inviting fans to join them on this exciting journey.
