Raised in the Netherlands and inspired by his Balkan heritage, Satori returns to Crosstown Rebels this April with The Gin Song. Featuring acclaimed group My Baby, it’s the third and final single ahead of his upcoming album.

Famed for his dreamy, ethereal production and Eastern European influences The Gin Song opens with a raw drum kick, delightfully accompanied by a high pitched guitar riff, which perfectly echoes a band from the 70s or 80s. Produced at the Sonic Vista Studios in Ibiza, soft, delicate, folk-like vocals sweep in and whisk your mind away to the sun drenched shores of the Balearic Isle. Capturing the essence of Ibiza, The Gin Song features celebrated group My Baby and is a beautiful final taster of what’s to come from the Dreamin’ Colours LP on April 22nd.

Satori has been on the electronic music scene for over fourteen years where he has been able to perfect his unique music skills and own style, making him one of the most sought after live acts. Having been championed by Crosstown Rebels head honcho, Damian Lazarus, he has acquired a strong, loyal fan base stretching right across the globe. His career has seen him hold an eighteen month long residency at Heart, Ibiza and receive over four - hundred - thousand listeners on Spotify each month. Maktub, a recent touring project curated by Satori, has been embellished in some of the most iconic clubbing institutions and provides a cinematic rave experience to accompany his live sets. He has a plethora of releases to his name on renowned labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Sol Selectas and DGTL Records to name a few.

My Baby is a Dutch - New Zeland trio based in Amsterdam. A relentless touring schedule has seen them acquire a large fan base for their live shows. Their unique sound combines rock and dance music with folk infused melodies, all played on instruments curating quite the spectacle to witness live. The trio are no strangers to clubs and festivals from all corners of the globe and have released through labels such as Embrace Recordings, Prehistoric Rhythm and Glitterhouse Records to name a few.

Max Doblhoff & Idd Aziz started working on some new Tracks and Live Show - Electro acoustic Afro Deep House music for the Dancefloor. After Releasing DJEMAA ft. IDD AZIZ in 2014 and finishing some Studio work in Nairobi/Kenya 2015  we are presenting MAMA JO feat IDD AZIZ from our upcoming Album "AFRICALA" in 2016!! 

Max Doblhoff`s releationship to East Africa/Kenya started in 2003 when he first played a Live DJ set in the so called „Club Sikiliza“ at Village Market Nairobi. DJ`s jaming with live musicians is Max Doblhoffs trademark. After inviting and jamming with some local musicians like Idd Aziz on Percussions & Marcy Mira on vocals supported by Funky George on Sax (Austria) , Stoney the Flute (Austria) we had 2 legendary bookings in Nairobi 2003 & 2004. The musical connection between Idd Aziz and East Africa never stopped.

One year ago, Charles Aznavour passed. This has been quite a shock for us, since our french grandma made us learn all of his songs by heart. 
He has been such a big inspiration for our youth, that we decided to remix one of his songs "Les Deux Guitares" as a commemoration of his subtle poetry that crafted the "Variété Française" for such a long time.

After the success of their track "Viral" from their Freedom EP released a couple of months back on WAYU Records, @altriparty and @hypsidia decided to gather their close friends Betelgeize, Luigi Sambuy, and Notre Dame to remix and give a new life to the track. 

Whenever talking about chill-rave/downtempo we can't ignore an artist like @betelgeize. He has been at the forefront of this musical movement in Russian and we are happy to have him on board on this project. His remix, while staying closer to the original, the Russian producer gave us his signature chill-rave sound and made the track his own. 

Italian producer @luigisambuy having just released his first EP on Anjunadeep, on the other hand, gave us a faster-paced rendition of the original while experimenting with glitchy and deep elements to make an amazing remix that takes us to the different spectrum of sounds. 

Last, but not least we have up-and-coming French producer @soundofnotredame, that recently released his first track on WAYU via our compilation series. His remix puts the guitars front-and-center and gave us a track that takes as to a magical place.
