Fun projects need to be shared. In this case I like to give away my newest fun project - I did in my free time. Hashtag is a combination of five elements in one track. With the focus on a snare drum roll, a upward pitching part, a melody, a fat baseline and acid elements. Acid in that case means, crazy sounds in a groovy beat. Hope you like it - have fun.

Shadow Dancer head straight to the dancefloor with ‘Strut’, a pulsating techno tune with some truly heavy throbbing bass. Deadwalkman (ACYB), the best thing to come out of Colombia since James Rodriguez, turns in a booming electro remix with a rude elastic bassline. But we haven’t finished yet! UK techno legend Mark Broom delivers not one but two different techno-flavoured interpretations: his ‘Loop’ mix is a punchy heavy dub of the original and his ‘D’ mix is a radical overhaul with some emotive Detroit pads. We’d have been happy with one remix from Mark, so to have two amazing remixes just makes us even more excited about this release! ’Strut’ is taken from Shadow Dancer’s forthcoming album ‘Brothers In Arps’, which will be released on GND Records in September 2014.

I am so lucky to be able to celebrate my birthday on the bus each year, and I get to share these moments with the people I love.

On this special day when I am supposed to get older, instead… I feel younger.  Whoever has been in a desert before knows what energy and pureness lives in it, and what you as a person can gain from it.

On the Playa there is the possibility to be who you really are, and to give what you really have. This could mean you or something that is important to you.

I decided not to take any pictures this year, to see the place through my eyes and not a camera.  And every moment and every breath, got inside my soul. I was really careful not waste any of it. 

I want to thank all the people who were there to make this day such a special one for me.

Thank you Robot Heart for having me again and supporting our music with all your hard work.
