After its outstanding reception following its initial release back in January, Wankelmut & Emma Louise's infectious single - 'My Head Is A Jungle' returns with a souped up package and is set to be released worldwide on 15TH September via Positiva. Heavily supported by BBC R1's Pete Tong, 'My Head Is A Jungle' was dubbed his 'Essential New Tune' back in February as well as receiving championing support from BBC R1's tastemaker Annie Mac. It comes as no surprise that the single is already platinum in Italy, top 30 in Germany (and rising) and top 5 airplay in South Africa!

Wankelmut who has mainly been deejaying in underground clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos and MIKZ, became 'Newcomer of the Year' last year (GROOVE Magazine) and has been in high demand as both DJ and Remixer ever since. Wankelmut has a very entertaining and well crafted way of deejaying with a huge variety of styles from Deep House to Techno. More than one year later the now official remix has sold 1.3 Million copies on Sony/Columbia, scored over 100 Million Youtube Plays and entered the #1 spot in 8 european countries, as well as being the best-selling track on Beatport last year.

In cooperation with the talented Australian singer Emma-Louise, the duo deliver a finely tuned piece of melodic brilliance. Wankemut's faultless Tech-house production, and Emma-Louise's blissful vocals will have you instantly hooked and will be circling around your head for days to come. If you've seen Tiga play a festival set over the past few months, then you saw him play at least three to five Clouds tracks, with at least one of them being "Optic", "Future Blaster", or "Vaults".

These Scottish Ladmen are some of the most promising producers working today, combining brutish, visceral force with real intelligence and control. They use no gear whatsoever, crafting their bombs from malware in public chatrooms, giving voice to a generation living in the digital ether between the Moon and Glaswegia City.

For the remix, Clouds asked to enlist a hero of theirs, the Swedish techno master Jesper Dahlbäck, who adds another excellent remix to his massive catalog and further cements his place in the Turbo Hall of Endless Respect.

Rework, the production outfit of Daniel Varga, Michael Kuebler and Sascha Hedgehog, earned their dance music stripes around the turn of the millennium with a series of strong releases, most notably on Frankfurt-based techno institution Playhouse. Describing their musical aesthetic as "cabaret-independent-house", the act forged a distinct sound that combines icy minimal structures with catchy euro-girl vocals, Anglo-French funk antics and a dash of dancefloor melancholy. This summer, Rework return to the fray with a two-sided affair for Paris-based Meant Records that shows they have not lost the electric energy that characterised their earlier work.

Lead single "Werewolf" evidences that that made early Rework productions shine still abounds in their newer material: with ticking drum machines, subtle filter work and no dearth of low-end éclat, it is clear that the Rework sound is still in full vigor. But, far from being a simple rehash, the track ventures into unexplored sonic territories, with shimmering synthetic high-end, buzzing and overdriven sawtooth bass and mantra-like vocal repetitions all contributing to an indelible party vibe.

B-side "Touch Yourself" also hearkens back to the Rework sound of old while, moving in exciting new directions. Shuffling hi-hats jitter along, acid-tinged bass gurgles and spits while aqueous digital washes moil in the sonic periphery, producing an atmospheric narcosis that looms over the track like an overdense cloud. Meanwhile, female vocal imperatives to perform the titular act inject a dose of playful hedonism.

Items & Things's Magda takes on remix duties of "Werewolf", and much like a feat of lycanthropy transforms the gentlemanly pulse of the original into an off-kilter stomp. With a soundscape populated by dissonant synth bursts, fluttering toms and reverb-laden hats and snares, the track reveals its tension and dynamism in its subtleties, and indeed the whole thing seems a knob-flick away from breaking into all-out chaos.

Providing a Late Night remix of "Touch Yourself" is Meant label head REMAIN, who adapts the original's atmospherics to a slinky evening cocktail template. Cavernous bass, adenoidal sqelch and gauzy shimmers shellack the track in a cosmopolitan gloss, a deadly combination for humid summer dancefloors.

It’s only been two years since Mumbai Science appeared on the music radar but they’ve managed to leave an unquestionable impression. Their tracks Ancova, Gold and Lotus got the support from all the big shots such as Boys Noize, Tiga and Brodinski, sending them on a surge to the EDM top ranks. The 2012 release of ‘The Unified Theory Trilogy’ confirmed their musical prowess and now they return to the plate with ‘Unite’, a new beat inspired record.

Touring around the world from Japan to Berlin to the USA, Mumbai Science got more in touch with the history that subsides in the darkest corners of the scene. Their new EP reflects a small gritty club where you have to rely on your ears to navigate. Funky bouncing synths meet a typical Mumbai bass. Shinichi Osawa delivers with a blazing remix, which adds a little more spice to the original!

Last but not least on this release is a remix from Alex Gopher of one of their classic tracks, ‘Lotus’. The unquestionable energy from the original track combined with Gopher's subtlety results in a track, which is impossible not to dance to.

It's always a source of pride for the label to discover a new artist and shove him out onto the world stage to sink or swim into the playlists of all the huge names who pay rapt attention to everything we do. We were introduced to Pilo through Harvard Bass, who suggested his fellow Californian for remix duties on his own recent Twin Turbo release. "Ubstraktion (Jazz Yo Self Mix)" melds rave diva vox, an infectious siren hook, and high-BPM lysergic techno, leaving you wonder what the less jazzy mix could possibly sound like. Meanwhile, "Forte Inductance" strips away the nonsense to genuine "stripped-down, no-nonsense" levels, relying on a relentless kick, overdriven toms, and a melting MC vocal to  get the job done. Finally, "Trippin" gets you trippin' so hard that the term "after-hours warehouse banger-monster" seems to lose all meaning, before gaining way too much meaning.
