Exploited Club warmly welcomes back Mexican talent Levantine who follows up his previous Acid Infatuation EP on Exploited Club with another dose of his trademark sound: a deft interweaving of Eurodance and Italo - this time with the addition of a some sultry Spanish vocals.  

The backbone of 'Adicción De Amor' is a kit of rich, full spectrum drums that land with seismic force. They form a stout foundation for the track while a climbing, dynamo synth riff loops through over the top and a delicate spoken vocal floats with a contrastingly subtlety touch.

A fervid tension continues to course as high frequency FX and drum fills are expressively scattered and splashed before an Italo remix provides another side to the coin.

Slightly slowed and stripped back, the energy marches toward a spacious breakdown that creates a void for the vocals before the burly drums bite back with full force and an LFO sends the synth line flickering like a strobe throughout the conclusion of a classy record that melds retrograde synthesis with sharp, punchy sonics.

Across a string of well received records on Seth Troxler's Play It Say It, 20/20 Vision and Moan Recordings, The Mekanism has honed a refreshingly uninhibited sound - one that pops with joyful expression and works to serve the sort of free-flowing parties he regularly plays across the US and Mexico.

Here, he delivers his trademark sound with 'Do The Disco' - a rapturous cut that features percussion from Grammy Award-winning percussionist Jorge Bezerra and an alt sax replaying of 'Do It At The Disco' by Gary's Gang by Tom Barford with a gracious nod from Nervous and Uni Disc.

The taught skins of Bezerra's drums rattle out of the blocks and get things off to an electrifying start. Pattered into dexterous of polyrhythms, they carry that certain energy that drives a marrow-deep motivation to move while a straight 4/4 kick maintains a solid boom throughout.

Jorge Bezerra is a Grammy Award-winning Musician and Percussionist who has worked alongside many great artists throughout his career, notably on Ludovic Navarre’s St Germain project, on stage with the wonderful Melody Gardot and as an integral member of the Joe Zawinul Syndicate that allowed him to share the stage with other greats, such as Herbie Hancock, Bebel Gilberto, Hitonari Tsuji, Cheick Tidiane and Bobby McFerrin. 

Barford's sax is steadily filtered in while a bossy bass line walks up and down and the mood begins to bubble. Drums, sax and bass take turns to grab centre stage and the resultant vibe is feverish, balmy and jammed full of fun.

Having established himself as one of the most exciting contemporary dance producers with a string of stellar EPs and LP HENSA, Japanese producer boys be kko returns triumphantly with the Nagasawa EP, four floor cuts bursting with emotion, shimmering in Tokyo technicolor, and perfectly at home on Bliss Point.

Nagasawa kicks off with a bang. “ChuKii” is a peak time heater: breaks, chopped vocals and punchy toms sear over a low end groove that proves body music can funk. Melodic acid explodes like a firework mid-track, taking the dance floor to psychedelic new heights.

The club psychedelia continues with “Mold Mold”, a minimal, subterranean system roller adorned with swells, bells, and deep, guttural growls dubbed to the vanishing point.

“Sant Esteve (kko Edit)” is melancholic and contemplative jazz house, eschewing cliché and twinging with nostalgia for that moment you felt most free.

“Humor is an important part of my music”, boys be kko reflected over lunch as Izakaya smoke billowed past his face. “Oignon”, the fourth and final track on Nagasawa, is an airy and joyful cut of sampledelia that makes good on this promise. An enormous smile of a track sending listeners off with a slice of sonic sunshine and, dare we say, hope.

Berlin’s live-electronic visionaries GHEIST join forces with Ukraine’s melodic house prodigy 8Kays for Flowers & Guns, a collaboration that blurs the lines between indie dance and progressive house. Following GHEIST’s Searching Places EP, which drew acclaim for its original tracks and remixes from Mark Hoffen, Oliver Koletzki, and Unfazed, this partnership marks a new chapter of artistic synergy.

"This track is the most special one for me so far," shares 8Kays. "It was born from hearing a spectacular and profound idea from GHEIST, which immediately inspired me to start working on it, incorporating a live piano performance and the arrangement I wanted to embrace with the sound I produced. Later, GHEIST shaped the project into the final version we hear today: a tender and emotionally deep piece of music that I am truly grateful to be part of."

Flowers & Guns merges GHEIST’s textured, dramaturgically rich electronic approach with 8Kays’ signature melodic depth and eloborate arrangements, weaving shimmering synths, rounded basslines, and live piano into a soundscape both expansive and intimate. Turbo Recordings presents an explosive package of classic unreleased bombs from Russian Rave-Czar Proxy.

In the wake of the destruction caused by Proxy's mammoth double-album debut, MUSIC FROM THE EASTBLOCK JUNGLES, the Russian demiurge returns to scour the ruins for survivors with a cluster of B-side bunker-bangers. These tracks will be hauntingly familiar to the ruined cortexes of anyone who's ever lived through Proxy's live show, grantng fans their longtime wish of owning and coming to terms with the source of their neural trauma in digital form.

"What strikes small men as excess to me seems necessary. To crush them was not enough. I saw I needed to extinguish all hope," says Proxy, as he continues his onslaught of live dates around the world. "My challengers had already fallen. Now they have been erased."

Turbo Recordings was founded by Tiga in Montreal back in 1998. “We started out singing into plastic bags and shipping them to stores as quickly as possible. Later, we discovered that vinyl sounds way better when delivered by kayak. I learned so much the first few years…Now, as I look towards the future, I can envision music for poor people, sonic odors for the hearing impaired, even MP3s for women....Vroom, sucka!” says Tiga, the lyrical lampsman lighting the way down Dance Avenue.
