Column of Sand are a post-gaze band from New Zealand: dense, melodic and dissonant. Influenced by Ride, My Bloody Valentine and Fugazi they create shimmering harmonics, bleak undertones, and a crashing wall of sound.

Beards. Whisky. Distortion.
From it's conception The Blue Grizzly Band have blown onto the scene and made their mark, from opening slots with the likes of Anika Moa and The Thomas Oliver Band to winning the Jim Beam Battle Of The Bands 2012 and playing the Tankapalooza Festival- And The Grizzly have only just begun!
Quickly scoring a local residency at Murphy's Law (P.N) and already having their music played on radio stations around the world in countries like Poland, Serbia, Portugal, Brazil, Australia, and the U.S. The Grizzly have their sights set on world domination!

Some of the grungiest blues you'll ever hear; The Blue Grizzly Band goes from stage to stage blowing ear drums with a whirlwind of heavy blues rock, sexy slow-jams and modern blues funk. The band consists of a bunch of UCOL music graduates who came together to form a band and show off the skills they earned while on the on the course.
