The Title "Resident Alien" is in reference to my caribbean immigrant parents (Mother from Trinidad & Tobago Father from Jamaica)  that were given a "Resident Alien" Card upon entry into the United States. This Album is my expression of experiences and influences from both Caribbean and American cultures.
