I'm a sucker for anyone who combines a smooth  house groove with a funked-up acid lick, and Australian producer @sondrio has done a fine job of blending the two on his latest rolling, feisty cut. Some nice dusty live percussion samples and snatches of sax blasts combine with thick, pummelling, unrelenting bass to great effect.

New York producer @aimes has crafted a masterpiece in the form of his new album 'Let's Melt', full of chugging, synth juggernauts and spacey sounds. @itsyarni is an eclectically- minded producer from Sheffield who is best known for his electronic excursions on the likes of Nie Wieder Schlafen and Exploited, but of late he's been increasingly exploring life performance. A rising, prolific force, South African producer @ottis-blake has been making some damn fine music of late. This warm jam on @orangebridgerecords comes across like vintage Jazzanova, all woozy Rhodes, live jazzy drums and percussion and lazy, hazy feels. A beautiful piano solo tops off the dreamy feel.

Roger McKenzie also known under his production aliases of Wildchild or DJ Wildchild, was an English musician and DJ. Born in Southampton, England. He released many singles on labels such as Hi Life Recordings, Ultra Records, and Polydor (UK). "Renegade Master '98" was his most successful. Fatboy Slim's 1998 Old Skool Mix is perhaps the most famous version of "Renegade Master". "Renegade Master" was Wildchild's first hit single in 1995, peaking at #11 on the UK Singles Chart, but was surpassed by the success of Fatboy Slim's remix "Renegade Master '98", which peaked at #3 in 1998.

1987... for those lucky enough visiting a decent import shop in that year could have seen a US import record with pink label showing a darts board with small text next to the picture saying ''Target records'' and ''Joe R. Lewis''. Pretty sure nobody at that time would be alarmed by this... reading further it said... 1. Love Of My Own... Written and produced by Joe R. Lewis... in even smaller text the label info continued; mixed by Larry Heard..! And even that, at that time that would not have rung a bell, except for maybe a couple of dj's who only just in the last couple months picked up copy of a Mr. Fingers record and memorised the writer credits. We're talking the very early days of House music, the pre-internet era where new music and info didn't spread all over the globe within a couple of seconds... Now more then 30 years later this is a holy grail for worldwide record collectors and house aficionados, and still not all info is clear. But like all good stories there is a cloud of mystery covering up the details! On the flip side there is one of the best tracks ever produced by Joe Lewis.., Life Immoreal... a track so elegant and beautiful that it hurts!!! Two of the best tracks Chicago House music has to offer in remastered versions taken from the original master tapes on this latest outing of Clone Classic Cuts!!!
