Since the LP's were mainly recorded for the archives of radio stations, many original recordings are rare collector's items today.

As the needle dropped, the room became a gateway to distant lands. From the sambas of Brazil to the breezy grooves of Guadeloupe, Haiti’s soulful rhythms, the hypnotic beats of India and Senegal, and the haunting beauty of Ethiopian jazz. Each record told its own story, tracing a map of warm, vibrant soundscapes. 

This mix is an invitation to join us on that journey. Pour yourself a glass, dim the lights, and let the music take you somewhere far away.
