Konstantin Popp ist ein DJ und Musikproduzent aus Nürnberg. Seine musikalische Laufbahn begann bereits in jungen Jahren, inspiriert durch die Band seines Vaters. Im Laufe der Zeit entdeckte er das Schlagzeug und fand als Jugendlicher über Drum Machines und digitale Audioworkstations (DAWs) den Zugang zur elektronischen Musik.

Seine Jugend verbrachte er in Berlin, wo er eine Ausbildung als Veranstaltungstechniker erfolgreich absolvierte. Heute ist Konstantin neben seiner Tätigkeit als DJ und Produzent als Fachplaner und technischer Leiter in der Veranstaltungstechnik tätig. Geprägt von seiner Zeit in Berlin setzt er sich aktiv für Diversität und die Förderung der Subkultur in Süddeutschland  ein.

"The Turtle Project" started out as exactly that, a project, a songwriting project that was born from years of being a musician in many bands, doing countless gigs, naturally gathering experience and inspiration until, one day, I stumbled upon the fact that I could actually put those experiences and many others into words. The composing aspect grew from that into what it is today ...

Instruments are played by Casey Hollis on all tracks so far. I hope to bring you guys more live from the porch sessions with more instruments and more fun listening. I enjoy music and this is a hobby not looking to make money. I started using SoundCloud as a place to share and save my progression of getting better playing music. All my music comes from my heart and what I’m feeling in the moment. It is instrumental and mistakes do happen as I’m not a professional musician!!!!
