I love creative music.  Music helps us to have good times, so necessary in the day to day. I hope my music fulfills that end.
  

"The Turtle Project" started out as exactly that, a project, a songwriting project that was born from years of being a musician in many bands, doing countless gigs, naturally gathering experience and inspiration until, one day, I stumbled upon the fact that I could actually put those experiences and many others into words. Deutscher Singer-Songwriter über fünfzig Jahre alt. Seit fast vierzig Jahren schreibe und singe ich Lieder. Mein Hauptinstrument ist die akustische Gitarre, aber ich mag auch Perkussionsinstrumente (Cajon, Maracas, Gurio). Ich liebe es, melancholische und poetische Balladen zu komponieren. Aber manchmal schreibe ich auch (schwarze) humorvolle Songs, Jazzstyle und -Rocksongs. Meine Hauptsprache ist Deutsch. Aber in Zukunft will ich mehr Songs auf Englisch und vereinzelt auch Französisch schreiben.

German singer-songwriter over fifty years old. For almost forty years I have been writing and singing songs. My main instrument is the acoustic guitar, but I also like percussion instruments (Cajon, Maracas, Gurio). I love composing melancholic and poetic ballads. But sometimes I also write (black) humorous songs, jazz style and rock songs. My main language is German. But in the future I want to write more songs in English and occasionally also in French.
In my compositions I am inspired by Leonard Cohen, John Lennon, Jacques Brel, Van Morrison and Bob Dylan. On my records I play and sing all by myself. My vision for the future is to find musicians from different cultures who would like to share their tracks with me.

So, seems to be miscommunications when it comes to making music with me. Rule number one--Dont Waste My Time. Rule Two The music we do together is both of our works; we both have equal rights. Rule Three Once we create a song you cannot take that away from me. I will share the song as it is treated as a contract between musician and singer. Rule Four Please, refer back to rule one. I love music--its not about money for me--but spreading joy through improvisational storytelling. So please--Keep your intentions pure if you want to work with me. Also, once I allow for a download, once you have downloaded it and have agreed to make a song you must produce that song or I will consider it a form of theft and misrepresentation. Sorry had to set some rules and boundaries, because some people are taking advantage of my generosity with regards to songs and lyrics I write.

A Shout Out of Gratitude to everyone sharing commenting and liking our Track Ava's Song: Star Born Child. She succumbed to her injuries in a accident involving a distracted driver. Some of her organs were then donated.She was a really special child that left this world much too soon. She is still with US in spirit and would have loved her song!

Of all the ghosts and fairies abroad on Halloween, the púca (or pooka) was the most feared and October 31st was known as Púca Night in parts of Ireland. The púca, meaning 'goblin', can be malevolent or benevolent and is not solely associated with Halloween. It's a mythological fairy and the ultimate shapeshifter, capable of appearing in a variety of forms but most commonly as a dark horse or part dog.

The Winter Solstice is an astronomical phenomenon that marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year. In the Northern Hemisphere, the Winter Solstice occurs on 21 or 22 December, when the sun shines directly over the tropic of Capricorn. At sunrise on the shortest day of the year, for 17 minutes, direct sunlight can enter the Newgrange monument, not through the doorway, but through the specially contrived small opening above the entrance known as the ‘roof box’, to illuminate the Chamber.
