Heavily influenced by world class jazz fusion and video games, I go to NAMM to meet my heroes on a regular basis. I practice and play for fun every day, plugged in or not. I have a heavy disco funk style influence, am a technician when it comes to bass. 
The tracks on here are much older stuff than my current level of playing, and I'm hoping to find some new projects to refresh this list. 
I have played guitar and trumpet in the past, and recently got comfy on the drums. I love music!!!

Making the music they wanted to hear was the main goal when forming alternative rock act New Design in 2008.

The band’s growing list of influences come from a variety of genres, but the atmosphere and emotion of post-rock and emo served as the common link that brought the members together. Drawing inspiration from bands such as American Football, Jimmy Eat World, Moneen, Moving Mountains, and Toe, New Design’s music features dynamic and atmospheric sonic landscapes accompanied by memorable vocal melodies.

Flashes of New Design’s signature sound were first heard in their debut EP "Burn Out The Sky" (2012). However, their first ever full-length album "Far From Home" (2015), recorded and engineered by Kenny Bridges of Canadian band Moneen, best represents their emotive live sound; the one that has been captivating fans at their live shows for years.

Teaming up with Sunday Drive Records for their most recent release "Where I Need To Be" (2019) produced by Anton Delost, the band hopes to continue to find a place in the hearts of everyone willing to listen.

Mikalyn’s ascent in the music business has been an atypical journey thus far. She gained an initial unconventional foothold when a Brazilian record label called @RevenBeats discovered her original / piano-driven music on Soundcloud and offered to transform them into Dance & EDM hits. What followed were monster collaborations with the likes of @OwnbossOficial, @JetlagMusicOfficial, @Zuffomusic, @Evokings, @RQntz, @ZerkMusic, @DiskoverMe, @KohenMusic, among others. These collabs, released in labels such as Universal, Sony Music and Controversia / @SpinninRecords, although not the direction she expected to take at the beginning of her career, were crucial stepping stones in building her repertoire and fanbase, ultimately introducing new listeners to her original alt-pop stylings. The Canadian singer-songwriter from Guelph pens relatable songs which touch on relationships and her experienced emotions.

 Inspired by the likes of Amy Winehouse, Adele, Billie Eilish, Halsey, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Melanie Martinez and Ellie Goulding, Mikalyn’s sound is a vibrant and colourful blend of infectious pop melodies, soaring vocals and polished production. With millions of streams for her music to date, she has received airplay on CBC radio and her songs being placed on numerous Spotify editorial playlists, including "Indie Pop", "Bedroom Pop", "EQUAL Canada" and Brazil's "Dance Paradise" - where she was featured on the cover.
  
 With a one-of-a-kind style and unwavering drive, Mikalyn shows no signs of slowing down on her already impressive trajectory as she launches her indie-pop career.

Liv Cazzola is a sweet and sunny Canadian singer-songwriter from Guelph, Ontario. She loves hugs, tea, cheese, advanced-green lights, Minis, and most of all – music. With influences such as Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Kina Grannis and the Civil Wars, Liv has created a cutesie-acoustic-folky-pop sound, accompanying herself on piano and ukulele.
