Sometimes you find yourself mentally, emotionally and probably musically in the middle of nowhere.

Everything is detached. Then I don't want to go anywhere. It's good where you are. It doesn't matter.
Silence. No thoughts, no words, not even a movement. Just nothing.

But only apparently. Because a piano piece has emerged from this completely detached nothingness.

In our lives, we are granted the opportunity to witness the departure of our loved ones. Some depart through doors, never to return, yet still exist somewhere. Others leave suddenly, unexpectedly. Yet some depart when we are somewhat prepared, for their age predisposes them to it. However, there are also departures more challenging... when we observe the tree of the mind of a beloved, from which memories' leaves fall, and even the freshest, youngest cannot hold on to it. We cannot help, we can only watch how they fall...

Composing this little piece was very personal. It was combined with the realization of a fact from my immediate surroundings. I left all imperfections of my playing because of how I felt at that moment. It wasn't an improvisation, it was an interpretation of a theme that I've developed few minutes earlier. Salvador Dalí (May 11, 1904 - January 23, 1989) was a Spanish surrealist artist renowned for his technical skill, precise draftsmanship, and the striking and bizarre images in his work. Born in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain, Dalí received his formal education in fine arts in Madrid. Influenced by Impressionism and the Renaissance masters from a young age he became increasingly attracted to Cubism and avant-garde movements. He moved closer to Surrealism in the late 1920s and joined the Surrealist group in 1929, soon becoming one of its leading exponents. His best-known work, “The Persistence of Memory” was completed in August 1931, and is one of the most famous Surrealist paintings.  “The Persistence of Memory” epitomizes Dalí's theory of "softness" and "hardness", which was central to his thinking at the time. As one art historian wrote: "The soft watches are an unconscious symbol of the relativity of space and time, a Surrealist meditation on the collapse of our notions of a fixed cosmic order". This interpretation suggests that Dalí was incorporating an understanding of the world introduced by Albert Einstein's theory of relativity.  In August 1929, Dalí met his lifelong muse and future wife Gala, who was a Russian immigrant ten years his senior.  Dalí and Gala lived in France throughout the Spanish Civil War (1936 to 1939) before leaving for the United States in 1940 where he achieved commercial success. He returned to Spain in 1948 where he developed his "nuclear mysticism" style, based on his interest in classicism, mysticism, and recent scientific developments. Dalí's artistic repertoire included painting, graphic arts, film, sculpture, design and photography, at times in collaboration with other artists. He also wrote fiction, poetry, autobiography, essays and criticism. Major themes in his work include dreams, the subconscious, sexuality, religion, science and his closest personal relationships. His eccentric and ostentatious public behavior often drew more attention than his artwork. In 1968, Dalí bought a castle in Púbol for Gala, and from 1971 she would retreat there for weeks at a time, Dalí having agreed not to visit without her written permission. His fears of abandonment and estrangement from his longtime artistic muse, Gala, contributed to depression and failing health. In 1980, at the age of 76, Dalí's health deteriorated sharply and he was treated for depression, drug addiction, and Parkinson-like symptoms, including a severe tremor in his right arm. Dali was obsessed with death. Feeling that any every moment he needed to be alive. At the end of his life, he is quoted as saying he was eccentric because he needed to show that he was alive as versus his brother who died very young and his family always referred to him as his brother. On the morning of January 23, 1989, Dalí died of cardiac arrest at the age of 84. He is buried in the crypt below the stage of his Theatre- Museum in Figueres.

The meaning of losing of loved ones: knowing that they were struggling with illnesses and then hearing back the bad news was a devastated and it was grief,  pain, sorrow, at the same time, didn't seem them for the  very last time when they lost there life, so I hoped anyone can related to song it especially we love the people in our life recently they gone it breaks our heart that people no longer with us,but they remain in our hearts and memory with them.

Composition-- The Eclectic Collective

This song started with me coming up with a bassline and the arrangement. I started it as a project for the Eclectic Collective, so they were all immediately involved. Ken first laid down his rock solid groove of a drum beat to complete the rhythm section. Scotty was first after that, adding some melodic/rhythmic guitar magic to the mix. Stephen then blew the doors off of it when he added his melodic, dirty guitar to it. JJ was up next with his funky electric piano to fill it in. Chris then came in and added the trippy, swirling, psychedelic guitars. Mark also came along towards the end and added some really cool, but subtle percussion, and if you listen for it, a triangle in there, too.
  Of course every good song needs a good producer. Stephen was able to wrangle this into a good mix, thankfully. He also very cleverly came up with and added the psychedelic break in there between the first and second verses. Chris also added some really cool vocals to that part, too.
  This one was a lot of fun to make, and was our second song with Scotty, with whom we really enjoy making music. I named it such because I wanted the spirit of welcoming lots of musicians to come through. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed making it.

This version of Summertime reflects many emotions, including the joy of what nature gives us in terms of light and new life.
"Summertime" is an aria composed in 1934 by George Gershwin for the 1935 opera Porgy and Bess. The lyrics are by DuBose Heyward, the author of the novel Porgy on which the opera was based, and Ira Gershwin. 
The song is sung several times throughout Porgy and Bess, and in act 3 by Bess, singing to Clara's now-orphaned baby after both parents died in the storm.
Composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim characterized Heyward's lyrics for "Summertime" as "the best lyrics in the musical theater".

This is the latest song from the album Wou-Wou & the Wormling, Stricknice, Bitzone, and I have been working on. Like all the rest of the songs in the set, this one began during the start of the pandemic and reflects the changes in political perspective that were happening in society, and continue to this day. And, as with the other songs, I started this song with an unreleased demo from Wou-Wou and created a 1 minute outline which I then often passed on to a guest collaborator. When it came time to fully work on the track, I expanded on the original idea, along with the guest collaborator stems, until a full song was arranged. I then passed the bones and organs of the song to Stricknice and Bitzone to add any additional muscles and flesh they believed in until it was finished. I am so blessed to work with Wou-Wou, Bitzone, Stricknice, and all the guest collaborators on this inspired set, that one day will be complete. 

May everyone find something authentic to themselves to believe in.
