We are excited to announce our brand new and third volume of our compilation series “Freestyle 4 Funk”. The story behind our catalog grows each and every month with our digital releases coming out there from our huge artist roster that feeds up our catalog that counts more than one thousand tracks with ep’s, mini albums, singles, compilations and full-length artist albums.

In this third volume Timewarp selects the best seller tracks from our catalog from the past two years releases along with ten freshly produced unreleased tracks to please the listeners. The style on this release moves from disc A where you can find the Funk and Breaks side of our sound style while on disc B you can dig our disco and club house tunes!


This release will be out digitally and physically only exclusive at our store as Double CDr!

All tracks mastered by Angelos Timewarp Stoumpos.

VA - Freestyle 4 Funk 3 (compiled by Timewarp) will be available on June 23, 2014 for sale in special edition CDR and digital download at timewarpstore and all mp3 retailers across the internet.

Dimitri Nassios is no stranger to fans of the funk having released on the highly respected Freestyle Records as Q Orchestra and with Basement freaks as Smokey Bandits.

Under the http://soundcloud.com/quasamodo-aka-q-orchestra/tracks name he has teamed up with singer Thaliah to deliver some uplifting soulful beats. Can’t Hold Me Down is a gloriously sunny number. Shame it’s freezing but hey it’s summer somewhere.

Change is Strange also features Thaliah and is a more laid back and low slung groove.

The rest of the EP is funky beats delivered by a young master of the game. Son of Shaft has a familiar ring to it and Funkenstein is a pure heads down groover.

At Jalapeno we never forget where we’re coming from and when funky music like this come across the desk at Jalapeno Towers we are always on the case.

i actually remember loving his cover&logo art!  i picked up on these classy details right away. voodoo dilate was ghoulish fun! he knew exactly what to do and how to approach the lyrical psychedelia. most producers would not have dared to drift that far from their backyard! the song is an ode to jean michel basquiat, and the fact that the underground music industry (still) seems to think that i am this dark reclusive voodoo priest. i still await our next cocktail, mr. menace!
