Chris.SU Ft. Mira – Together In The Night

Impermanence was an album I was working on mostly throughout 2023. It's themed around the process of falling in love with something and then experiencing the loss of it. All the tracks were made in Online Sequencer.

I never finished most of these songs, and I'm releasing them now because I figured it was a waste to just keep them unpublished, so I figured I'd put them out anyways. The only songs I consider fully finished are Don't Go and Farther; the others are varying degrees of done, and some of them are mixed a little badly, so excuse me for any headaches. I stopped working on this album because I was starting to push the limits of Online Sequencer and it made me desire for a more capable DAW, which is when I started using GarageBand - with which I have yet to actually fully make anything.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the music, I suppose.

Ignite is one of those tracks that goes backwards, it dropped live at festivals like Lost Lands and Bass Canyon years before it ever released.  Ignite was originally written coming off the immediate success of All Fires and KJ Sawka's first single The Wind, but now finally became the right time to release it.  Ironically, the lyrics are about starting and doing instead of sitting and waiting, something everybody can relate with. All Fires has been known to eschew many genres that include DnB, and Ignite marries the unabashed garage rock vibe with a soundscape rooted in liquid.  KJ Sawka's reworked VIP pushes the song into a new place with a fundamentally electronic take on the song.  Ignite is live on all platforms.
