Poodeezy was born in Bakersfield, CA. His story is as unique as his sound and his style is as rich as his culture.  
A member of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, Poodeezy grew up on the streets of San Diego, CA. As a young teenger, hip hop started as something fun for him and his cousin “Odoe” to do, which led to the creation of rap duo “Dago Braves” and getting signed to label Shulaced Entertainment. In 2008, they were awarded best hip hop award for the 10th annual Native American Music Awards. The success and exposure led to opening up for major artists such as Bone Thugs, Lil Wayne, Putbull, Snoop Dogg and Young Jeezy.

Dago Braves still work closely together but have not released a third album. Poodeezy has continued pursuing his passion for music and went on to start his own label, Brave Entertainment, for which he is the main rapper and producer.  Under the label, he has released music with West Coast favorites such as  as Nipsey Hussle, Mitchy Slick, Keak da Sneak, Mistah Fab, Riff Raff, and D-Lo.  In less than a decade, this young, entrepreneurial spirited musician has inspired others through a ceaseless work ethic that has given him an outlet to overcome obstacles, all while earning a loyal following.  

Poodeezy actively volunteers in the community, especially with the Sycuan Youth through sports, tutoring and counseling, as well as donating food through the #HashtagLunchbag program to benefit the less advantaged.  Music has not only grown with him but has also helped to establish him as one of hip hop’s greatest mcs.  A Native American from the streets living a five star lifestyle and delivering rhymes without reservations, Poodeezy is surely a voice of hip hop that many should hear.
