Asafoetida: A plant that is used as medicine and as a spice in Central Asia... Well, Patrick, the guy behind Asafoetida is neither Indian, a doctor nor a good cook. But the name Asafoetida sounds somehow otherworldly which applies well to to the music he makes.

I am a composer, recording artist, and pioneer in the field of electronic music and sound design. I'm best loved for my fifteen albums of original music which feature my performances in a broad array of expressions: pure electronic, solo piano, piano with orchestra, and piano with jazz ensemble.
