All I have is my phone and a couple of wireless speakers to record with. I practice my tracks over and over again ‘till I get my vocals right. I record in one take with all my songs, the hook with it too! It takes determination to be the best! I’m 42, and have ben spitten’ since I was 13. Gangsta’s Paradise, from Coolio, was the first beat I ever wrote to. I loved music since I was born. Any song that is playing anywhere, makes me instantly go into producer mode. Being signed to a label is not what I want to do. I want to sign my own labels. I do my own photography, my own drawings, and I always keep my ear to the street. I don’t just pray to god, I talk to god. I am a student and a teacher of truth. You can tell when someone had a rough life, because you can hear it in their music. Beginning in his adolescence with an influence of Hip-Hop, Funk and R&B, Phonse, takes his first steps in the mix at El Parador Solanas Punta del Este, Uruguay. Continuous his career at the Union Bar Punta del Este 1996, Moby Dick Pub Punta del Este 1997-1998, and later on at La Morocha Club in Buenos Aires. In 1999, after a promising start, he goes to House Music and starts to plan and manage events. After doing the "Fila Sessions" with the support of Fila Argentina, he plays at Odeon Bar for a season. Phonse has been also the producer and host of The Naked Lunch Radio Show at the Funky & Soul Station. Phonse has written about the new music releases of Tower Records for The Border Magazine between 1998 and 1999, and he has witnessed and written about concerts such as Morrisey, Earth Wind & Fire and Jamiroquai sponsored by the Levi’s Jeans brand.

Million Bar for 3 years. Shout Bar for 6 months. Negroni Bar for 6 months. Gran Bar Danzon for 6 months. He made the Osaka Cocina Nikkei Buenos Aires playlists during 2014-2015, he created the playlists as well, for Moby Dick Punta del Este, for Tropera, a chain of breweries in the south of Chile,La Cava Restaurant, Punta del Este and Norway Sushi Fusion Buenos Aires.

Phonse uses House, NuDisco and remixes for the bar and restaurant scene and Deep Tech, Afro House and Tech House for clubs.
