Um den Indian Summer den wir gerade verspüren gut abzuschließen, kehrt ein lieber Freund mit seiner zweiten Ton Terrine in die City zurück. Diesmal diven wir deep in einen Ozean aus Reverbs, Hallräumen und chilligen Dub Grooves ein. Für diesen neuen Vinylmix in die blubbernde Oase des ultimativen Sounds, kehrt der Plattenleger "Sunday StripFM" mit einer noch Wave förmigeren Terrine zurück.

Der Meister sagt dazu:

Einen „Plan“ für eine neue Ton Terrine hatte ich mit dem Mix eigentlich nicht. Jedoch war ich bei den ersten Platten direkt an die Party „Marie22-trifft“ auf der ich auflegen durfte erinnert und verspürte eine ähnliche innere Zufriedenheit. Der Gedanke mich immer mehr von den „alten“ Sounds zu verabschieden und DAS hier einfach mache – was ich Jahrzehnte lang auf einem 2. Gleis gefahren bin, jetzt ohne schlechtes Gewissen zu zelebrieren und zu leben. Ist vielleicht auch etwas dem Alter geschuldet.
Aber: Ich mag diese „alten Sounds“ von denen ich gesprochen nach wie vor, möchte diesem aber nicht überdrüssig werden durch eine Überpräsents. Sie hatten ihre Zeit!
Und dann habe ich mit Toni Kontakt und der meinte: Warum machst du nicht eine Ton Terrine? – worauf ich direkt antwortete: …schon fertig!

Das Urgestein DJ Laban (SundayStripFM) spielte in der goldenen Ära der elektronischen Musikszene eine wichtige Rolle. Seit seinem Abschied aus dem Plattenladen- & DJ Zirkus, der unvermeidlichen Schließung des GOA RECORD STORE in Neunkirchen und dem legendären HARD WAX in Saarbrücken, sind gut 20 Jahre vergangen. Der erfolgreiche DJ hatte mehrere internationale, nationale und regionale GIGS gespielt und Mixe auf renommierten Radiostationen, Blogs & Podcasts veröffentlicht.

Der Begriff "Akasha" (Sanskrit: आकाश ākāśa), steht für Himmel, Raum und "Äther" eines der fünf Elemente. Die Akasha Chronik wird oft auch als das „feinstoffliches Buch des Lebens“ genannt. Man kann sich die Akasha Chronik wie eine universelle Bibliothek vorstellen, in der das ganze Wissen der Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und möglichen Zukunft aller Lebewesen, Orte und des gesamten Universums gespeichert ist.
Sie wird auch als Weltgedächtnis bezeichnet, denn alle unsere Gedanken, Emotionen und Handlungen sind dort festgehalten, auch die unserer vergangenen Leben.

Just Another Day, is a perfect example of Spacey Panda visionary stylistic output.
The song immediately stands out for its immersive quality. The “found sound” samples, featuring noise from city living, subway trains and even birds, makes for a very textural flow.

The musical components of the song shape-shift in unique ways. One moment, you’re grooving to a drum-n-bass type flow. The other, a roaring rock guitar jumps to the forefront of the music, dishing out riffs with amazing power, only to fade back into a more mellow part. The arrangement is full of twists and turns, and listeners can’t predict what’s going to hit them next!
