084. MY TAKE (MY TAKE)

Long ago, when HUMANS and MONSTERS lived in harmony…
The MONSTERS were led by a POWERFUL king.
The king led the MONSTERS through an era of peace and prosperity with the HUMANS…
Until one day… 
A war struck out between HUMANS and MONSTERS…
And during the war, the king was struck down.
Unable to keep fighting, the MONSTERS and anyone associated with them were sealed away by a powerful spell.
The QUEEN attempted to keep peace within the kingdom…
But the monsters wanted justice for their fallen king.
One monster rose to the occasion and using the power of numbers, the monsters overthrew the QUEEN.
With a new ruler in order, the kingdom falls into chaos. 
A few years later…
MT. PLUTO
A lonely monster wanders aimlessly through the underground in exile.

Despite Toriel TECHNICALLY being Frisk, you still play as the human with Toriel being a party member pretty early on.

Toriel takes the role of Frisk. She resided in exile for several years until she regained the courage to traverse the Underground in hopes of finding the 6 souls being held captive. She wears a cloak to conceal her identity.

Onion-san takes the role of Flowey. After being exiled by Queen Muffet for "being too nosy", they've gone into hiding but are secretly finding a way to obtain the SOULs and expose the Queen for the fraud she really is.

NOTE: Back when I was rewriting this take, Onion-san kinda fell by the wayside and honestly I didn't really think too much of them. So I decided to give them more of a role in the story than just "random onion" guy. :p
