To say it’s been a busy 12 months for D&P would be an
understatement; a constant global touring schedule only
helps to serve their savviness at chiseling out dancefloor
belters, and recent remixes for the likes of Boys Noize
and Tiga have also hit the mark too! 

‘Hands Up’ thrills with that trademark D&P industrial edge, whilst the ‘Acid Mix’ gets twisted with an injection of some much loved 303 sounds and some heavy manipulation to the vocal.

Belgian artist Philippe Petit joins Radio Slave’s imprint with four analogue techno cuts on his Rekids debut.

The Chamonix based DJ and producer Philippe Petit is widely respected amongst the techno community for his plethora of rumbling releases such as ‘Venus’ on EarToGround and ‘Scrape’ on his own imprint Decision Making Theory as well as releasing on Involve and Figure SPC to name a few. With a wealth of experience playing at the likes of Tresor, Suicide Circus, La Graviere, Batofar, Weetamix, Corsica Studios, and Berghain, the sophisticated production he showcases was a natural fit for the Rekids’ Special Projects series. 

‘Anger’ rolls in with force and bumping sub frequencies, rattling percussion and jarring keys, then ‘Crystal Clear’ keeps things murky with evolving pads, fleeting highs and rolling low-end. On the flip, ‘When We Meet’ jumps in with climbing stabs, tight hi-hats and galloping kicks, when finally, ‘La Floria’ cuts through with chopped highs, washing chords, snappy cymbals and dreamy harp-esque patterns.

Twisted Monkey, born in February and connected to Mannheim’s music scene, is a versatile artist blending Techno, Hardtechno, and more. Inspired by Showtec, Hardstyle, and Schranz legends of the '90s and 2000s, he turned his passion for music into a career.

With training as a sound technician, designer, and a background as a double bassist, Twisted Monkey combines technical skill with creative vision. His energetic sets and tracks focus on diverse and captivating soundscapes.

Looking ahead, Twisted Monkey aims to expand his unique sound, inspire listeners, and conquer dance floors worldwide.
