San Francisco, October 8th, 2013 - Twisted Tools has released METAMORPH, a vast collection of electroacoustic and designed sounds, developed by Italian sound artists BJM Mario Bajardi and Komplex (Iter-Research). METAMORPH takes heavily processed violins, pianos and acoustic instruments and morphs them into impacts, sci-fi atmospheres, user interface elements and beyond. The library features over 2.1 gigabytes of 24bit/96khz audio, embedded with Soundminer ready metadata to easily facilitate the discovery of new sounds for your next music or game production. Whether you’re a sound designer looking for alien textures or an electronic musician seeking out unusual timbres, METAMORPH features something for you. 

METAMORPH comes with presets for most popular sampler formats and is available at the Twisted Tools shop for just $69. The package comes with sampler presets for the EXS24MKII, Kontakt, Battery, Maschine and Reaktor. Included in the package is the all-new MP16d sampler for *Reaktor, equipped with a Lemur Template by Antonio Blanca.

BJM Mario Bajardi is an Italian electroacoustic composer and sound designer, who is currently a lecturer at the Academy Art, at the University of Palermo in Italy.

Komplex is Paolo Bigazzi Alderigi, multimedia artist and owner of Iter-Research music publishing. Paolo is a lecturer at SAE in Milan, Italy.

Rolodecks is a realtime dynamic semi-modular multi-effect, made up of six effects. 

The built-in Rolodecks effects are the Slicer, Flange, Filter, Delay, Reverb and Ext effects. 
Ext (short for external effect), is an assignable effects slot, giving you the ability to insert your own effects and automate them! With the Ext effect slot, you can truly make Rolodecks unique by adding your own flavor. To top it off, we’ve inserted a granular effect called Stretch as the default Ext effect, but feel free to swap it out for your own. 
 
When you purchase Rolodecks Pro, you also get a special version of Rolodecks, called RoloEXT, which gives you six external effects slots and extra modulation options built using the same framework as Rolodecks. Twisted Tools has released S-LAYER, a sample layering sound creation tool for Native Instruments Reaktor 5. 

S-LAYER is a sound creation tool that allows you to create, edit and play new sound combinations by taking samples and layering them together using an eight part sampler and an intuitive cell layout.  By combining sounds from the included sample map or your existing sample library, S-LAYER facilitates the discovery of new oneshots, sound effects and loops from your pre-existing sample content.

With S-LAYER, up to eight parts are played back simultaneously using a granular capable sampler engine while each layer remains independent and can be surgically edited.  Time-tested sound design techniques such as reversing, pitching, modulating and mixing sounds together can be quickly achieved by randomizing and fine-tuning with sliders and knobs. In addition to the on-board granular, filter and time-based effects, you can also connect your own effects using the insert/send system or by using the direct outputs.  Once you’ve found a sound combination that you like, you can store it on-the-fly in one of eight ‘Scenes’ which can be dynamically played using MIDI. 

In addition to the included sample library featuring sounds from renowned sound designers, S-LAYER comes bundled with an iPad Lemur MIDI template by Antonio Blanca as well as a MIDI template for Native Instruments’ Maschine.
