The album sounds quite different to his previous works but Twit's music has never been easy to predict. Featured artists on „The Sit-In“ are singer May, poets PB Louison and Imam Ally Salam and keyboard player Ruoy Yaw. Artwork has been done by Van Lagerstein and Robert Winter.

May 28th sees the 5th anniversary of Hubert Daviz' masterpiece "Proceduri De Rutina" from 2010, which has only been available as a limited LP (500 copies pressed).  To celebrate this day Hubert has asked some of his producer friends to revisit the album:  Dexter, FloFilz, Tbrck, Max Graef, Wun Two and Hulk Hodn (who also did the snippet mix). On May 28th 2015 we will re-release "Proceduri De Rutina" as a double LP (original album + remixes). Stay tuned!

The days had grown long and tiresome, there was little light in the place in which he sat. Four walls surrounded his very being, he had not known he would miss her as much as this once she had gone. Now there was little left to do but brush the tears from his eyes, dive, dance and enter the abyss of a new and wonderful world. Only, without her. 

Folamour steps up to deliver a five track EP for the newly formed imprint Noire & Blanche. He blends emotive melodic twists with percussion and club sensibilities.

This album is a continuation of the hip-hop/funk hybrid sample based music that I've been making for the past few years. Hope you all can find your own "Bright Moment" in these tracks. Stavroz managed to create a wholesome, comforting soundtrack for a place, which no words can describe. Take a rest, lay down, close your eyes and listen to a story told in an orchestral fashion, with such profession and ear for details like Luise never heard before. We are deeply impressed and thankful alike to be able to present this musical masterpiece. A heartly welcome to Stavroz, everyone.

Djrum - Seven Lies LP preview minimix - Out NOW

Introducing Haraket, a 5 piece from South London who are set to release their debut 12" / digital single on Melodica Recordings this Spring. The band emerged from the creative chaos of school and college bands in and around Peckham that have already given the world King Krule. This is the first in a series of releases with Melodica Recordings, with an album due next year. 
 
Haraket fuse wall-of-sound dynamics with often delicate source material, moody electronics, programmed beats and effected vocal lines. Think a post dubstep version of early Underworld or A Certain Ratio reinvented by the new digital century. 'Taint' / 'Attgo' showcases the young band's keen ear for contrast, sensuous tonal material and high drama, something that is reflected ten-fold in their live shows.


Djrum follows on from his accomplished work on 2nd Drop records with a captivating take on 'Taint',  morphing it into something special. It's moody and dark, sounding like the soundtrack of a film Noir with Hardiman's vocals appearing in a new, smoky light.
