P31 is an all female collective of solo artistes who came together to minister in one mind and heart. P31 stands for the Proverbs 31 woman in the Bible who we strive to live like as ladies. We consist on Nellius Nelly, Shani and Lesynem Junior.
Our music genre is hiphop and urban styles combined.

DJ Gee Gee a.k.a the activist is a DJ based in Nairobi Kenya

ACHIEVEMENTS:

DJ Gee Gee is the Mwafaka DJ of the year for 2010, all glory to Jesus :-)

He has taught Dj-ing for around 6 months in a Music school called The Heart Music School in Kenya.

He also does a radio show called Trinity Connect every Sunday evenings from 7pm to 10pm on Homeboyz Radio 91.5 fm

He was featured on a TV programme called Hip Hop Halisi, which used to come every Friday evening on NTV
He did the mixing and arrangement for the Mad Love Mixtape Volume 1 “He Is Risen”

EVENTS:

He has mixed in many indoor and outdoor Christmas events in his home church.

He mixed at the Chevelle Franklin in Nairobi event hosted by Nairobi Lighthouse Church in 2009.

He also curtain raised and mixed on Kirk Franklin’s event called Celtel Xtreme Life Weekend in Nairobi Kenya at the Kasarani Gymnasium

He is also the official DJ of a hip hop Event/ Movement in Kenya called the MadLove Lounge which showcases hip hop talent, freestyles, spoken word, poetry and all kinds of Urban Art.

He has also ministered on many high school missions

He performed at, The BREAK, the first ever Gospel Hip Hop competition at Charter Hall and Holy Dave's Exclusive Listening Party at Kula Corner

DJ Gee Gee has also graced International stages like the recent Stay Alive Europe Tour which he accompanied Kevo Juice. It included touring various cities in Norway, Europe and Germany.

PROFILE:

DJ Gee Gee grew up in the streets of Nairobi in an estate known as BuruBuru. He got saved and rededicated his life to the Lord on April 29th the year 2000 at around 6:30 pm in a Benny Hinn Crusade right here in Kenya even though he grew up in a Christian family.

He really loved music in his childhood days and through this love, he started listening to DJ mixes on radio and mix tapes by experienced and professional DJ’s. His love and desire for the art made him to start looking for equipment in order to get to know and learn this new found art. His desire grew and finally he got access to Dj-ing equipment through his friend after completing High School. He actually got to learn Dj-ing at the age of 18 in 2004 even though his desire was there from the age of 12. DJ GG perfected his skills after High school and the Lord opened a door for him to serve in church through doing Sound and being in the Sound Engineering Team. This boosted his knowledge in sound and Dj-ing.

DJ Gee Gee attributes his success to the Lord Jesus Christ because without him he admits that he would never have made it in life. Over the years he has been representing the Lord Jesus in various stages and his aim is to be an example to the non - believers and also to Win Souls and Make Disciples using music as a tool.
